I agree with the sentiment, though it would be ironic if the person you refer to were in fact mentally handicapped.
Perhaps if SOE's adverts, as well as including "jedi wars" also included "bh hunting wars".
Then again, people playing now don't even seem to know the basics of the game before they unlock jedi. Its dissappointing to me that a game that had some depth (crafting for example) is being dumbed down so much and that this still isn't enough to help the "i want" crowd.
Personnaly, I never entered the Jedi boards before unlocking my Jedi. I wanted to experience this for myself and discover it all. I am also guildless, by choice. So as dumb as it might sound to many, I didn't have any clue about how the BH/Jedi relationship was so tense and about the hate the Jedi profession generated as a whole (I guess devs should add a BIG taunt bonus to us while fighting mobs). My first reference being Georges Lucas movies I can say, with no shame,I didn't anticipate such a thing.

Look at all the poor newb jedi who are crying over getting pawned by BHs. Your so lucky now its sad... at one time BHs could come in groups of 20 and all TEFed together with jedi in their group and you had little or no chance.
Now you guys have to fight one BH and you cry and moan and wail and wrench your fists as if you were some sort of drama queen. Get over it, Jedi are hunted by BHs and if you dont like it then drop Jedi and shut up about it. Your tears are pointless. Your sad little world is shaken by a video game so much that you feel the need to cry over your character dying.
You are not a jedi.
Your playing a character that is jedi. The character has to play the part designed and if you dont like that design then play something else child.

I would venture to say that about 90 percent of the posters prefer to keep the pvp. It was planned to have mbhs hunt jedi. Before the carebears and jebay jedi came. So much that pre cu jedi got a EMAIL (okay, you cant deny that carebears, they did. they got an email. TRUTH AND FACT! NOT DENIABLE) stating that it was a pvp profession.
Now, as far as the change goes. there will be no change. carebears are in the minority as far as the hunt goes. it will not change. sorry. wont go no where. it is an integral part of the game. and if we were forced to adjust to the cu, (dont tell me, you never played before the cu...ech...if so, never post here again LOL) which was HUGE, then you will adjust to this or quit. plain and simple. The devs arent going to change that. it was here probably before you, and will be after you leave. this is very small compared to the cu, so you are just going to have to go with it or quit. you wont be missed. anyway, post here all u want, but it wont change. u can get mad at me all you want rant rave blah blah, and guess what?

I have never once read from a DEV that Jedi is supposed to be PVP. But I knew that becoming a Jedi would mean that I could be hunted. Not counting BH's, I have never PVP'd with my Jedi. It is my choice. Therefore, I do not consider Jedia PVP profession. It is just like every other combat profession out there, it has the ability to PVP.
