Thread: Alternatives to Jedi
For another Idea:
Teras Kasi Grand Master
If you've heard of the origins of the TKform, it was created to balance / combat the Jedi. Masters were also at one with the Force (not really wielders).
The Teras Kasi Order / Conclave (Sacred Temple)could be created just like the Light & Dark Jedi have. The Skills progression could be very similar to the Jedi idea of Masters Trees (an example would besomething like Weapons Master and have 4 columns: one-handed, two-handed, pike & technique).
Would this conflict with TKM? That depends on your view. Regular TKM's have learned an art of combat,but are free to pursue other interests. A member of the TK Order has pledged themselves to TK, giving them a higher understanding of the TK Arts.
A system like this would allow those who would want to stay Melee Vs.Ranged (Mando's I asume would be a majority Ranged) go Melee without having to be Jedi. What would they do you ask? Combat the growing corruption of the Mandalorians & Jedi.

Penalties:
Mandalorians were at war with the Jedi and with anything Republic, so logically they are sort of outcasts.They could be hunted by Jedi of a similar level.Inquisitors could be hunted by Rebel Special Forces and whatever the Rebel version is by the Imperial Special Forces. Alpha Crafters could lose xp if they failed to complete some of the more advanced items on the list.
