Thread: I am trying to figure out what some of you guys thought when you CHOSE Jedi?

This is exactly why we want to change things so non factional NPCs will not generate visibility. Bounty Hunters can target all the l3t uber starport fighting kiddies, and leave us huggy bears to enjoy the game.

You know whats ironic about this post?


The Jedi that think this is a PvP only profession, are the ones that make all the things non-jedi hate, this includes, PvPing 24/7 in front of everyone, running their aura/infusion/force armor/force shield/etc macros, do the /lick emoticon to each other in fron of theed, etc.

The Jedi that want a better PvE experience are the ones that are mainly roleplayers or trying to fill a "role" in there.


I wouldnt be amazed if most of those who say "Yeah you damn n00b carebears fuxing up 0ur pr0fezion j00!" are the ones who spend their lifes in front of theed wearing hawtpants and dueling.

It did I know on Nartius its slow or somthing kido but it took me forever with isk -- I kid you not , but I did change my template a few times so for that im sorry?? lol


Again, this was a time that you know you dont say all... and my gosh I did not tell on the other Jedi being in my City or Pex for that matter time to time.. but man.. Your rather intresting. I take it as a player from UO -- it must come with that mindset.


Your questioning me playing in pre- 9 I did it with two toons.. what you don't know is (since its out there kinda) was one was a joke and it unlocked on 6 profs lol -- Again, you may think you know all yet still pre 9 man was pre 9 -- I grinded my azz of in the RISK system.. not this easy stuff now.. (any person that was in pre- 9 for one week knew what risk was..)


As far as a Poser , I think not.. no need whats even more funny is that I have no idea what your angle would be from Pre - arguments -- Not exactly anyway.. I made three different toons too does that count? I mean crap .. I ran around Eisley in my noob clothes as well.. Pre- 9?? AGAIN, if you were in it and not the village (as it seems you were not) then I am sorry your mad about it man but please... spare me the unlocking oof pre-9 I did it -- and what is worse is you have no idea anything about that Im guessing.. (unless again your ebay then I can't help you there)... On your server it may be slower but on ours multi tooning is quite common .. It's ok though you seem to think that pre -9 was not different I guess I have no idea but you are a angry little fellow Im guessing.

(oh and for what its worth I did catch hell for the saber tef killing with the other toon if that does make you feel better)..

ithought wheni got Jedii would be King of Naboo but i'm not. very disappointing. they said I could be King of Rori but I said no.


i'm not impressed with Jedi skills. they don't help with droid engineering at alleven thoughi spent months grindingat the village. we need to nerf Master Lightsaber and add some droid assembly and experimentation mods instead. also bounty hunters keep attacking me when i'm resource hunting and it's really starting to annoy me!!!!!i don't like fighting.we need to delete all bounty hunters or make me invulnerable whenever I like with a hotkey because they're harassing me and my lawyer says I can sue unless youadd this.

ilike bashing stuff up with my Jedi in Lego Star Wars where I don't have pvp FORCED on me, buti can't show off at star ports in that.

It's not thoose Starport guys who complain about visibility.

It's the Jedi that runs around the bush in the deep forest of Kashyyyk where you cannot see them.

Why are Jedi who kills a few cavemen in the outer rim priotized above thoose who are currently killing Stormtroopers right outside the Theed Starport?


Do you understand what would happen if NPC visibility was disabled? Then the first BH missions that would appear on the terminal where thoose Jedi who are currently camping the starport.


Then people (like me) who do not flash around my saber everywhere in player cities would be rewarded, thus the visibility system creates the order it was meant to create: An illusion that Jedi are rare, Jedi who are seen are hunted down, and Jedi who arent seen do not exist. If that would happen, then no player would ever see me again, except for thoose I am grouped with. That's one less Jedi existing in the game. Right now I am forced to run heaps of Enhancements at all times to protect myself from BH attacks caused by defeating NPC's such as Crazed Rodians in the outer rim. Still I feel ashamed when I am forced to forcerun through a starport quick in fear of getting attacked. I would rather have walked incognito of I just could do pve quests without getting hunted.

For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Ironically, I chose Jedi for the risk. When I became Jedi there were saber TEF, permadeath. Then there was permaovert, which made me feel like I'm playing Diablo hardcore. Nothing like the thrill of landing into Coronet permaovert as an Imperial or standing in Theed waiting for a gank squad to come for you. Then the unbuffed permaovert journey from the shrine to a safe spot if you get killed.

Now jedi has no risk..no rewards, hence I'm not playing anymore.

I just have to ask: Doyou always ask your mark if they have been flashing their LS outside a starport before you attack them?

When I first got star wars galaxies, it was grinding a bunch of professions to geta jedi. I thought it was cool because i'd be able to dabble in a little of everything and become a 1337 SWG gamer and I'd work my way to a jedi master because jedi were so rare in the game, mainly because people didnt want to do the grind (thats the response i got when i asked around)but i was gonna do whatever it took to get one.

A couple professions into it, the Jedi system was put on halt for the Village, so i waited for the village went live, and grinded out my jedi that way. Eventually, I got my jedi and a bunch of cool village rewards for my house, so then i went to some deep and dark place in endor to grind in peace and solitude, did this until about the CU went live. About 3 days after the CU went live, my account expired, after looking at the result of the CU, i just said F*** it and didnt bother to renew.

A few months later, I came back into the game, to see if any progress was made. little was made to my disappointment, so when my account expires again, im not going to bother to renew it.
