I personally just think the system leads to needless animosity between classes. A better solution would be to have a scalable system of NPC's (depending on Jedi Lvl) to come and attack the Jedi when their vis gets too high. The final NPC being Lord Vader whom you have, at best, 10% chance of defeating. Not all of us did that. Many of us are (near) accidental unlockers who got a holo after grinding a bunch of profs to find out what we liked. Silent on the first try when a friend gave me one. Figured I already did 22, what's the harm in doing the rest?

You guys could not have been that blind not to know the RISK and what it was to be a Jedi!

With risk comes power. Current Jedi have none. I had the power to take on a whole group of BH at one point. That was without an uber saber. I'm still without the uber saber and I'm at a severe disadvantage to kill one now. The risk has been lessened, but not to the point the power has been dropped.

I have been a Jedi long enough to know issues coming and with all of this crap talk it is nothing more then ANOTHER CRY for a nerf on ourselves? Have you guys not figured this out yet? Do you need some help understanding this?

I really don't like to advocate nerfs, but after having to start the fifth regrind before the fourth is complete I'm pretty much out of anything but cynicism. I no longer want to try and get the devs to help us. I just log in another account and start calling for nerfs on a different class. Get enough of a fire started and it'll happen. I don't believe in nerfing Jedi at all. I will however gladly work to nerf any other class.

Some of us Jedi are pretty sick and tired of all the cries... this is the class, this was the way it was made and this is part of our role in the game.

Wrong. This was originally a super-class with risk. I could deal with skill loss (perma was dumb, especially considering the number of things that could kill a player who was being careful). I could even handle saber-tef, if there had been a limiter for when a BH opened up on you. The way it is now is a bleeding joke, and most of those nerfs came from other classes trolling here.

If you do not like it then Im sorry you made the mistake of choosing Jedi as your class that day.. if you do not like it so much and cannot handle it please feel free to delete those boxes and drop the Force sensitive boxes too.

Nobody has forced you to be a Jedi, in fact you worked somewhat for it... it was your choice and you knew what it entitled... so crying now is like buying a Porshe and in 5 years making it a Volvo with alot of airbags.. please think about what your choices were...before we get anymore weaker then our state now.

Tell you what, they make Jedi stronger again, and I'll stop complaining.

People ask what happend to Jedi... well here is about 50% of the answer.

The problem with Jedi is that they are the only class that has to buy defenses. Delete the whole defender tree and scatter the defenses to the proper areas (LS, FP, Enh) or make every other class (non-jedi)buy defenses. That would solve alot of problems. Next, re-institute Lightsaber Damage. Next, Fix Pearl Drops. Next make those super weapons that armorsmiths make require looted components that drop so rarely that they cost 5 or 6 million per component.Next fix LS Speed. Next fix powers. wonk wonk wonk, I could go on for some time here.

(I want to add one thing, if you didnt think we were a joke on other boards and fourms your so wrong with all this PvE talk and visibility talk we are more so then ever)..

It's as it's always been: PvE'ers vs PvP'ers.

We have come full circle. The very same carebears rhat screwed up TEFs, then the GCW, have now thrown enuff 'nades at lairs to finally become Jedi. This is the last step for them. NOw they want to take a profession that was by design, PvP intended, and "carebear" it to being like the GCW. We knew this was going to happen eventually. Our ONLY hope is that the DEVs and SOE do not succumb to this Jedi PvE dribble and keep it a PvP designed profession. Only then will these carebears decide that Jedi isn't for them and leave the profession.

To all of you... ahem... players who want to destroy the fine profession of Jedi, just because you've recently got your glowstick, I say this; If you think PvP from the occasional CM(with some BH skills) is bad, you WILL NEVER survive in the FRS with perma-overt status. Better drop your saber now and run back to the safe land of the GCW PvE carebears. We won't miss you and we don't want you.

i care zero

dont take my jedi overt, dont pvp with him, dont/wont care. your a pvp player, and good for you, im not(and dont think jedi belong in the GCW)

so i dont plan on going knight if the FRS is brought back like it was before(fightclub ftw), and it doesnt bother me that you could exploit a stupid system to be DJM, councilor, or whatever rank you purchased.

as far as BH's go, i dont really care about them either, bring them, dont, doesnt matter, I play my game, my way, and am not content for anyone else unless i choose to be.

and you can keep your post cu name calling to yourself, unlocked on prof 20, BE.

I don't mind that there are Jedi, I just mind that there ARE jedi...in other words:

I don't care that you guys became Jedi, truly, I don't, its another 225k for me, but what pisses me off is the fact that you guys stand in Theed with your LS's out and about. And then you complain about visibility. I have not seen a Jedi that has not had their LS out at one point in time. I guess, you guys flaunt it too much. It kinda, in my opinion, kills the game and the storyline.

W/E though, I'm just one man, out to get my bounty, one jedi at a time.

This is exactly why we want to change things so non factional NPCs will not generate visibility. Bounty Hunters can target all the l3t uber starport fighting kiddies, and leave us huggy bears to enjoy the game.

I was a pre-CU Jedi, not fully templated but just over half (which took 6 months of grinding) and even at that level I was a good fight against Non-DOT'ers but once those dots hit, it was over, but then the CU hit, I finished my temp in 3 days and ever since have watched Jedi go down the drain like nothin more than well -you know-

Jedi need to be Jedi, not wiffleball batters
