Thread: Next Patch Hidden (Nerf) fix Coming
For Jedi it means a great deal. Since we can't wear Armor we depend on BE enhanced Clothing with at leas 3 sockets for CAs.

I wouldn't really call it a nurf. I have a Master Tailor. I feel it is about time they made it like that. Tailor is one of the crafting professions that has almost 0 repeat business. Now that this "fix" is coming we can pick up more business![]()
No offense but to what effect? They need to do a lot more in order to fix tailor rather than making 0 condition clothes un-equipable. As others have stated a simple ADK can take care of that, and what benefit does clothes have anyways, besidesstyle? Tailor is so limited, Jedi only have about 2 possible sets of clothes they can wear w/ BE mods.
I might as well use my Jedi robe again rather have to keep buying clothes over and over again (if they were to decay at the same rate as armor). Revamp Tailor then maybe you might see an increase in their usefulness, if anything all those 0 condition clothes will justhave jedi running around in Robes, or worse, naked.

What about the, ubese shirt/bando they have no condition at all are they going to be worth alot again?
No, they'll eventually nerf those as well despite being prenerfs.

If ADKs can repair clothing to 100% Condition, I think I'm gonna be very rich.
If a piece of clothing is at 0 condition, applying an ADK will not bump the condition up to 100%, it will remain at "0/100" condition.

The fact that jedi only have two possible sets does not make tailor limited. And although you can ADK it, how many are going people are going to ADK the majority of their clothing? I mean, if you've got expensive skill tapes, sure, go for it. But... The vast majority of players do not buy clothes to ADK it. The vast majority of players does not have skill tapes that makes the item worth ADK'ing.
Take your average combat character, let's call him Joe (statistically speaking, Joe is probably a bounty-hunter, a combat medic, a rifleman or a combination of the three. Anyway
. Joe buys a +19 HE shirt to wear under his armour. It's really cool, andquite useful.
Now, Joe can spend 10+ mil to ADK it, orhe can buy a new one for like 10-20K when thisone runs out.Assuming he, like most people, do not have an uber skill tapes, he's not going to spend money on the ADK. And suddenly, the tailor has a slight increase in returning sales.
edit: Forgot to mention; There's actually clothing repair kits that can be crafted. I've never used one (I have a tailor alt. I tend to switch outfits more often than I die, much less manage to decay an entire suit...) but I think they work. So one can at least gamble on a 0/100 item to get a working one. Heck, since the "stats" on clothing don't go down with condition, would an ADK'ed 1/1 be worse than an ADK'ed 100/100? I doubt it, but I havn't tried it.

Either way, if this "fix" is coming, its just pathetic. If ANY resources where placed in fixing this "issue" is sad. There are much LARGER issues to need to be addressed before this. Not just with jedi, but all professions.
Hey, majorglory. How do you eat an elephant?
Ummm dunno.

While I have been trying to verify this, I have heard that they are nerfing 0 condition clothing with CAs to not work any longer....
KiIIgore, where are you getting your info?
1: There have been persistant rumors of fixing this bug, but it's still live. There are so many bugs that are more severe, more unbalancing, why fix something like 0 condition clothing after all this time?
2: The situation you speak of is an unintended mechanic of the game, and is therefore a bug. While there are more important bugs out there, this one still needs to be addressed. The fact that you've been able to 'have your cake and eat it too' all this time doesn't change that fact.
I consider this nothing more that just another rumor until clear evidence is presented to back it up. If you have said evidence, it should be presented at the time of your orginal post.
Until you know something is happening for sure, posts like this only serve to cause drama, drive up limited resource prices (example: ADK's), create panic in the community, or put undue pressure on the Devs. At this point, the community as a whole (and the Jedi/BH relationship to a larger extent) has enough drama. Your post only serves to be counterproductive.
