It is a very nice proposal though. Glad there are still some that are looking to improve things without asking for the /iwin.

The names of the saber forms do appear in KoToR2, but they didnt invent them. Those are the established forms and Knights just made it common knowledge. Those people who are familar with Star Wars RPG would have already known about the saber forms.
Oh and yes, Lightsaber Master = LJK/reb Jedi, Darksaber Master =DJK/imp Jedi
No they didn't invent them. I'm guessing it was the Samurai that gave name to different combat "forms" Or, as it's affectionately referred to as "The Dance of Death" or "The Dance With Death." hehe.

Well constructed.
Better than the current system.
In the long run I believe the Lightsaber tree just have to be removed from the game and completely changed into something else, where you do not have 1h/2h/DB lines at all.

This is a good thought that you take time to think of how to fix the lightsaber discipline, but the devs aren't going to even consider it because it requires alot of work. After publish 9, they weren't going to do anymore reconstructing of the jedi profession( strange that they changed it for CU) and they don't want to do anymore long hours of the jedi profession. The FRS is probably the only thing right now in jedi that they're going to reconstruct. But if you decide to make a suggestion for FRS, don't suggest knights being permanentlyGCW Special Force(S.F.) again. After the last dumb idea to make knights permanently overt, I believe they decided not to make that same mistake twice.

Im glad to see that more people like this idea than i had imagined, I know its pretty radical when compared to the current system. I tried my best to come up with something that is closer to what i feel LS combat should be about, while still trying to create a vision that bares some relation to the CU system the DEVs have created.
Of course, this will be ignored like every other idea, but at least people will talk about it and maybe start expectign more from their professions and not think the poor excuses they give us are the best we could ever do. If that happens, then maybe we can get Jedi fixed at some point.
