I will say this one time, if the devs take away my pearls i worked my freakin ass off to get, then i am goin to personally call SOE numerous times and let them know just how much i love them, and it wont be tough love, it will be hated love. You guys do this to the jedi and you ruin this game as your whole reason for SWG existing will have left the game.

i get called alot of things on this board because i am very vocal about the beating we are taking, but i have said it before the cu even came out...its jedi population control. soe cares nothing for us as a proffesion, they have admitted that jedi should not have been introduced to the game, and now are trying to force out the guys who have stood by it thick and thin. There is a reason for all this down right stupidity in the nerfs...to get rid of top dog jedi. They finally will get their wish if they kill pre cu saber pearls.I doubt if any pre pub 9 jedi or many post pub 10 will even bother with this game after that.

Fixing a loot table has turned into this overarching dilemna that you all cannot seem to grasp. IT IS SIMPLE, drop more good quality pearls, decreasing their value to pre-CU levels (100k per), and/or introduce a few new species of Krayts above and beyond ancients. Seriously folks, why is this so darned difficult?

I am so sick of these "boo hoo i will quit!!!" posts!

I have a good lightsaber and I'll say this:

If the current build on lightsaber crafting and construction continues exactly how it is regardless of "lewt drops" I will likely cancle my account! I want a system that is engaging and exciting which requires tactical and decisive skills to be rewarded in new componets which would be used to enhance a lightsaber. I do _NOT_ want a static system where all you do is "insert pearl" to complete. This is a terrible design for an MMO of this calibre.

I want to modify and alter wave emitters, particle reflectors, cells, grips, hilts, etc...

I want all of these items to provide a unique function with the end product which will become my utility to secure order within the known StarWars Universe!!

While there are some features in the current system I like, for the most part it's archiac at best. Modify lightsaber creation while allowing for tuned pearls to be included in the construction of the lightsaber while permitting the allowance of swapping or altering componets at will. Yes, like Knights of the Old Republic 2!

This would ruin to much of their bussiness i doubt it will happen, jedi r the largest class of players. Need to keep them happy. They make the most money of jedi becos they r vets and most have more than 1 char

bounty, jedi mean nothing to soe except a constant supply of problems by bad programming that is found by vetern players. Thats the problem with having older players around, they will nail every mistake and take you to school on it.SOE's biggest mistake is not listening to vetern players to start with....

We don't know. We didn't know whats going to happen before TH made this statement and we don't know whats going to happen now. There is no implication in his statements about actually changing pre-CU pearls after the "interim", just an assurance that they won't change now. After seeing complaints in this forum about pearls' unbalanced nature Pre-CU compared to Post-CU, I can see why TH was making his statement.
