I didn't read very much of this thread, but I'll offer my $0.02 anyway.

I think that pearls/crystal should not have any affect on a sabers stats. All saber stats should be determined by the quality of the resources and experimentation points of the Jedi. Pearls/crystals should instead work as SEA. Some might have defense mods, speed mods, accuracy mods, etc. etc.

We don't know. We didn't know whats going to happen before TH made this statement and we don't know whats going to happen now. There is no implication in his statements about actually changing pre-CU pearls after the "interim", just an assurance that they won't change now. After seeing complaints in this forum about pearls' unbalanced nature Pre-CU compared to Post-CU, I can see why TH was making his statement.

Thing is it really is hard to interpret the meaning behind what the devs say until we actually see it.

They are trained in the jediart of public relations. They answered the question but in answering the question they opened up more questions lol.

They could have just said players with old pearls will get to keep them.

But no, they had to say players with old pearls will get to keep them in the interim.

To me the interim is the period that is now up until the time when premiums/flawless go live again.

They don't come out and say we are gonna convert your old premiums at that point where new premiums will go live,but then again they don't say that they won't convert them.

The reason I think that something will happen to our current premiums/ flawless is because tiggs told us that they want premiums and flawless to be something rare again.

In the current time even though new premiums and flawless are not dropping, by definition premiums and flawless are not rare.

I have several, and i'm sure many other have several. premiums cannot be rare if you take into consideration all of us jedi who have 4 in several sabers.

To me rare would be one or 2 in a saber and finding a jedi with 4 premiums/flawless would fit the definition of rare.

This is what I'm gathering from the little tidbits of info.

This is not how it could be or would be or should be, but my interpretation of the whole thing.

Once again this is only my interpretation.

People see things differenty, this is how i see it, not how it will be.

You see, when the developers do not communicate their intentions and instead rely on politically correct marketing speak, we have nothing but speculation. As I stated in the opening comment, this problem is generally simple to fix. Increase the drop of good quality pearls to a point where thier price goes back to a level that is reasonable, and about 90% of the community would be satiated. Instead, we get mystery and promises. So dumb...

All this means is that all Jedi that have premium pearls arnt going to have those pearls taken away from them.....or "un-tuned" or turned off for he time being just because newer post CU jedi cant get them.

What are u talking about? I said that they wont pull pearls from Jedi that already have premium. That no matter how much complaining people do those who have pre cu pearls will not lose them Quality, Premium or Flawless.

That they will not just trash existing pearls to make other people happy as getting 120/120 -9 pearls was hard enough as it is.
