Thread: The amount of Jedi in this game isnt what ruins the feeling of SW for me...

Sorry thought of something clever to sayrofl
Oh dear me. Better go buy some Han Solo wannabeclothes and get a wookiee alt. Better go find a vest, white shirt, and black pants so I "look the part" before I am thrown in Fasion Prison!
Or maybe you could just learn how to post everything you want to say in 1 post instead of 4 seperate consecutive ones

Guys i think you all read what he said wrong. He stated that he has NOTHING aganst these people. Hes not blaming it on the players. Hes usuing this to counter the "Too many jedi ruin my gameplay" whine.
oh i get exactly what he's saying.
He i saying that his immersion is RUINED OMG YES I SAID RUINED because some people like to dress differently then the stero typical jedi.
He is not using it to coutner anything, you must have read that wrong, he is saying that people are somehow ruining his immersion by the way they digitally dress themelves. That in my opinion is an example of stupidity at it's finest.

I'm not gonna read through all the other posts everitt but I totally agree, ya i think theres a few to many jedi but if they weren't all acting "l33t" it wouldn't seem near as much... I will be a jedi in less than a month and I WILL act like a true jedi unlike all these *cough* "l33t" *cough* jedi, they sicken me... well like you i've said my two cents hate me if you wantpeople but no one cares to see you anyway unless theyre facing necrosis or something else thats equally strong. You all should have a penalty for acting the way you do... for shame...
I'm a dark jedi, i do what i want when i want and how i want, so f*ck off.
We aren't jedi, and i'm not gonna be a little dweeb and try and pretend i'm one either. I will play how i want and what is fun to me if you don't midn. But apparently unless people play your way, it's wrong.

One minute your calling me stupid, the nextyour showing yourself to be by your immaturecomments. Now, to clarify you on a point, dress alone was not the point of the OP. It was the way people act, and their dress is just part of that. Disagree w/ me? Thats fine. I stated my opinion, but I wasnt rude about it. But you perfectly display the behavior I discussed in the OP that half the Jedi in this game have, which is what really ruins anything SW about this game. Are you free to dress ridiculously(from a movie standpoint) and act like a child if you want to? By all means! What I did say, however, is that people doing that is what ruins anything SW about this game, not the number of Jedi itself.

I don't think OP is really passing judgement, if you read his topic.
The problem some jedihaters pose is that the high numbers of jedi is gamebreaking for them.. there aren't supposed to be this many jedi... but is it wrong?
Well, in the movies they didn't have warmhats or cyberarms or look like clownseither for the most part, but is grizzly common now.. but is it wrong?
And additionally is there really any good reason to single out a profession and the people that play them for these reasons?
People have the right to choose what clothes they wear, while i completely agree it looks dumb, It's what they choose to wear. If you want to choose what others wear or look like go play an online dress up game

not flaming and i realize It does look kind of stupid but, just because someone doesn't wear what you think they should doesn't make it wrong
To respond to you simply, people's dress isnt the real problem; its people's actions. It just so happens that in general, the majority of people who dont act like Jedi also dont look like them either, and the OP was meant to bring out both points, though people seem to have focused simply on the looks part of it.

I'm immature because i'm roleplaying my character? Isn't that what you want me to do? I tend to follow verege, roleplaying more of the rogue jedi with his own beliefes about the force more than i am dark.
My jedi does what he wants, when he wants, where he wants, and how he wants. It's how i feel and it's how i choose to play my character. I'm as gungho star wars as anybody, but i also have a grip and realize that people dressing stupid or spewing sh!t isn't that unstarwarsy.
It doesn't ruin the game one signle bit.ANd so i don't choose to use clean language all the time, most jedi didn't and used quite a few used curses or "bad" words. SIthspawn and sithspit were the equivalent of crap and sh!t for starwars.

we aren't jedi, we're just people pretending to be them.
Use your speciel mind and roleplay! pretend they are just wierd force wielders
.
SHould spend more time playing and worrying about your fun rather than how others dress/act.
That is the main point of contention between our two opinions. You think its fine to go around acting like that, I dont. But I'll tell you thatpeople acting like that is whatmakes people think that theres a 13 year old behind the screen of all Jedi. Now we come to the part that I find interesting: in my OP all I did was state my opinion. In your reply, you not only stated your opinion, but alsofound the need to spew out someprofanitybecause you disagreed with me.Now, I suppose that ifI shared your disposition that I would probably send some choice words your way in response, but seeing as howthats not the case,I'll leave you to yourself

It ruins your game, for reasons which i think are stupid. But anyone that doesn't do what you do/share your opinion is a immature two year old huh?
He tells me what to do and all is just fine.
I tell him to f*ck off and i'm immature, go figure. There's nicer ways to say but you get the same picture either way.
