lol Thanks but I did not ever say I made guadian lol -- not once ever. lol, However that date does not reflect the unlock time (sorry) this was a time when we did not exactly announce it.. I know you may know this or not.. there is alot on my server that know my time was before that of course.. but whats funny is that pre 9 was pre 9 and being in it almost 4 months was enough for me man.

As I recall they did not change any of my trees then either, not only that... I was scared out of my mind to die or tell anyone but one person I was a Jedi ... again, different times... we did not exactly tell anyone until we felt ready then.

Saber tefs and skill loss /death etc.. made this so. (But telling me I dont know the difference? lol um... Ok)...

But you said it best... crying coming from the GCW people and others is not the answer... I still think crying for PvE Jedi is a mistake and so far it seems that is true.

All in all if your a Jedi at least one year I think you more or less have a clue of what nerf cries have done to us... unless of course your ebay LOL.

LETS KEEP IN MIND THE DESIGN BEHIND JEDI.... WHAT IT WAS MEANT TO BE AND IS. Then go from there.

Funny, here's a post from 5/30/04 where you say you're on profession 28 Clicky And here's a post from 5/28/04 where you complain about having done 27 professions and no unlock. Clicky Someone is lying.

Actully even worse is the ugly fact of unlocking another toon.. yes before this one.. and I dare not use that toons name as well. Again, I did unlock on like prof 27 with isk I think... but if you think that I told everyone the exacts your wrong. BUt on the side note you said I was a guardian? Hmm never did that kid... not once in fact I only knew a few at that time (well a few is like 7 I guess)... but I merely made it to paddy almost I was 4444 ini at the time of patch 9 -- BUT now here is a great one... there was one before this lol and that is the scarey part. Nieva lol -- look that one up maybe.. although I was a mean sob getting Saber tefs and killing afkers lol -- It was fun though, Im not sure your intent here man but again.. you don't know all my toons I played and did .. I understand though , you seem mad..lol Not sure why -- but as you may know pre patch 9 was pre patch 9, granted I did not like losing a saber to crafting.. (however I guess you are not a pre 9 Jedi) -- if you are then you also know the differences from then to now...Again, I know the difference between all levels we have been through if that is what your trying prove lol not sure what though.

I can tell you this though, it was more fun tefing at times then one would think, sure it was kinda lame when in groups.. but this is why it was taken away.. I mean think about it. Ignite saber, get targeted from a afk guy and boom dead lol

Now then, I do miss those times and we had no clue about Visibility in fact we never knew half the time what gave it... I guess those are the mysteries of the past.. but I can at least say it was fun.. Not sure if you knew that or not.

To the original poster: I think I was one branch from padawan before I learned about the bounty hunter thing. I knew there was gcw pvp, but I had always been neutral and figured I could just stay that way.

Main reason is, I didn't know a soul in the game. I didn't need to, the game was joke easy. I bought armor off vendors and killed in rancor valley by myself.

Before the cu I could see people reaching knight without ever knowing about any of the forced pvp stuff. It isn't in the rest of the game so why should they know? Alot of people don't read messageboards.

I was thinking we were already balanced for the CU.

I was thinking the risks and rewards might vaguely be balanced.

I was thinking that power vs time spent attaining Jedi might vaguely be balanced.

In hindsight, I don't know what the hell I was thinking.

I chose Jedi because I was writing a paper on teenage megalomania, and needed first hand experience.

If that were true, we'd have the pre-cu back already.

not really...if the numbers were close to break even then they were moving forward anyways...besides...I think with what they wanted to accomplish with the CU some player loss was figured in...

/agree (It was supposed to be darned hard, and we were supposed to be darned powerful and we used to be until the kids whined that it was too hard, make it easier... so they did, but with removal of risk, comes removal of power...)

From the days when you used to have to be rebel and fall to the dark side (you wookie grinders wouldn't understand) amen to that!

To the original poster:

I started jedi December 2004. I did my grind, finished template September 2005. Yes I have a real life.

I also have pertitioned for PvE Jedi now as to be honest without the tools I am fed up of getting ganked by the l33t kids, who just mow me down. When I was seeing Jedi back in Dec 04 when i started padawan Knights were still taking on 10+ players and winning. Even now a knight taking on 3 would be acceptable.

I have already made suggestions in other threads to suggest a PvE only option with no dual, no GCW specForces and no BH.

Maybe if you read this you will understand why - as I am a long time player (2 years) and the game has changed so much it is now time to alter the limitations on Jedi to allow for PvE only.

Flame away all as I know those that do just have a 700+ damage sabre and use all the speed hack macro's around, and like exploiting PvP.

Just like all of the jedi that want PVE-only is due to the fact that they get destroyed/anhilated by BHs and in PVP because of their Cdef Sabers?

Yeah...it goes both ways buddy...

This is a game based on Star Wars.

People have known what Jedi is for the past 28 years and have great expectations on an online RPG that is said to have them.

Just becouse you love Golden Axe with lightsabers doesnt mean everybody else does. Many Jedi hated to be forced into the GCW since itwas very anti-canon to have more Jedi than Stormtroopers in the Rebellion Era, and their words was strengthened by a large non-Jedi GCW public. So eventually they disabled the whole FRS that was also incomplete at release and cheated asunder.

And then we have the BH system in which BH's pop up 15min after being spotted by a dead Marouder. It doesnt make sense, it hurts the wrong people, its griefmongering, and still the starports is full of Jedi who want to show how mighty and powerful they are without an imperial deathsquad to mop up the place.

Before they implement a system in which you can actually play hide & seek and it's rewarding and canon to powergrind a Light side Jedi, there will be a massive opposition against the system.

Live with it.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.
