Yes. I would've gone with my backup plan, Imperial Ace Pilot, Master Bounty Hunter. In fact, that was what I was (minus the pilot), before player Jedi. Being a Jedi is nice, but the only way I would've passed Galaxies by is if there was no way to become Imperial.

No
But thats just being honest really all i play is the battlefield series and sports games with my friends this is my first mmo. But the prospect of becoming a jedi in a large community of diverse players and it being hard to obtain and somthing that could last for yearswas tocool to pass up. Not really hard to become a knight these days but when i bought the game that was what i had in mind. So no i wouldnt have bought SWG if it didnt have jedi in it but its just because im not really into mmo's and non of my friends play them so....

More than likely, no. It is the reason I bought the game in the first place and what i put all of my time ingame becoming once I bought the game. I have had a jedi character for nearly 2 years now and there is still not another profession I enjoy playing more.

I bought SWG because on the back it said.. "Follow Your Own Path with a Skill-Based Advancement system, which accomodates your style of play, whether you become a bounty hunter or a dancer or a merchant or even a Jedi" If it hadn't said that on the box then no, i wouldn't have bought it.

Yes, I loved the concept of living in the Star Wars Galaxy, I didn't even think we I first bought the game that Jedi were in large numbers, I wanted to become a CH at first, but that didn't work, so I became BH, thats what I am today. I love it, good creds, meet lots of people, get the occasional thrill of fighting a Jedi, and just having fun.

No. I didn't buy this game until January '04 because until then I didn't know Jedi would be allowed in the game. I didn't really feel the urge to buy a Star Wars game that did not include the iconic representation of star wars - jedi and lightsabers.

I bought it without knowing they were in the game and was happy as a clam
