all u guys yelling at me, about u shouldnt have to go powers to kill one temp....that wasnt my point, i was discussing with someone about powers, its no my fault u cant kill BH with your temp...i cant kill jedi with mine :-P

its all about what u want to do and be good at

Youshould to agreeing with my arguement then. I am calling for balance across the board not general nerfs. Your template deserves to have the ability to succeed vs bounty hunters and jedi.

I can beat MOST of them, but recently I found the few I couldn't beat are using known exploits on top of all this.

But have you encountered the hardcore ones we described earlier with 7k+ energy resist AB sliced armor, 8-12 buffs stacked (no joke) using capped weapons?

I am REALLY good with my KD timing, but these I couldn't damage enough before my force pool was gone. I know one of them used the cooldown timer bugs for sure along with 2 other exploits. But the other seemed clean, and I couldn't get an AB to stick and wasted alot of force trying to take him down. That combined with him healing over 1k every 2 seconds makes then hard to take down. I know the trick is to outlast their mind, but didn't work with them, and playing too defensive wasn't helping. And I hate using powers 0400 to avoid the death, but I did to stay alive.

But I am still open on this, I've taken some really good ones down with ease, but maybe these were totally legit instead of exploiting macro killers. I've adapted my combat logs so I can now identify those using the exploit and I'll start taking names.

Could you please tell me: what doI look for in the combat-log that gives incontrovertible proof of the exploiting you mentioned? I assume verbose mode is required?

I would look for paralyze/debuff/debuff/paralyze/debuff/debuff/paralyze/debuff

The reason why many Jedi cannot beat MBH/MCM's is because:

(1) The Jedi who lose are FotM newbs who have top-heavy, damage-dealing templates, but not the required skill to kill a CM: force speed. Thyroid Rupture is devastating to a Jedi, but it has a counter. Problem is that too many of you FotM Jedi don't bother getting that skill. It's also the reason why it seems like a BH/CM has "crazy" mind regen. Mind regen is on par with everyone else's mind regen ... you newb Jedi just don't have the DPS when you are speed de-buffed to deal damage fast enough. All you need is force speed and a good damage saber that can hit the BH for 500-600 each time. Force Speed + a good damage saber = dead BH.

and

(2) You're a newb Jedi who wastes skill points on force channel. I can guarantee you that I can defeat any Jedi who wastes skill points on channeling, or wastes skill points on master powers. Why? Because those are not well-rounded templates and the Jedi who opt for these templates are PvP newbs.

Considering that every Jedi skill tree takes the exact same amount of XP and skillpoints ...

QFE!!

So everyone who doesn't have force speed 2 is a newb.... Great logic. We are back to requiring certain builds to beat one specific build. That is not balance. Your arguement is immature and lacks substance. Btw I have force speed 2 and a very high damage saber. I've run into cm/bhs I couldnt overcome the healing on. I guess Im a newb eh? Get a clue buddy.

Force Speed 2 + High Damage Saber and can't kill BH/CM still? Then yes, you are a newb because that's all you need to kill one. (Oh, I forgot to mention you need a little skill too). The thing about the CU is that it 50% of combat is determined by equipment/template and the other 50% dependant on skill and experience ... as opposed to pre-CU combat where 100% of an encounter's outcome depended on equipment (i.e., one-hit kill legendary weapons, and DoTs that could kill half of any HAM bar in one tick).

The skill part of the CU is what a lot of you newbs don't understand, thus why you keep getting owned.

Regarding builds, ... all I'm saying is that the counter to a CM's speed debuffs (which is the most devastating special in a CM's arsenal) is force speed. I'm sure there are Jedi out there who don't have force speed and can kill BH's easily, but having force speed effectively neutralizes the CM's greatest weapon. I don't buy into the whole socialist emo BS crap where you think EVERY Jedi build should be equally effective at PvP. There are clearly offensive oriented templates, one-on-one templates, and support templates. To cry and whine that your chosen template which you knowingly choose to have is not as effective in PvP as another Jedi is like me as a BH crying that aMDoctor/MBH cannot kill a Jedi the same as a MCM/MBH. It is laughable to think that a MDoctor/MBH expects to be able to effectively kill Jedi.

For the love of god, you jedi like the OP here are rediculous. I'll say it once and i'll say it again...

IF YOU ARE A FULL TEMP JEDI, AND CAN NOT KILL A MCM / MBH...IT IS BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR TEMP. LEARN HOW TO PLAY AND STOP COMPLAINING, THINKING MCM NEEDS A NERF.

That BH is correct though. The bounty hunters that kill these full template Jedi are not newbs. They are skilled and experienced PvP'ers fighting against Jedi who are newbs. The way to beat these BH's is to become skilled and experienced yourselves. The problem with these newb Jedi is that they don't want to become skilled ... they want handouts ... a free meal ticket I-win button.

Henceforth I will refer to these Jedi as Welfare Jedi.

I have killed 18 full temps so far. And have died probably 4x that amount. The reason why i kill my full temps, is because i have hunted them for a LONG time now, i have lots of practice, great weapons, food and experience. Many of those 18 kills were VERY close kills, great jedi fights.

However, there are a few things that i have run into in my jedi hunting against full temps...

1st off. If he has a pre-cu saber, he is going to kill me. They do great dmg. And vice-versa, if a jedi has a crap saber, he wont be doing enough dmg to me and usually he will die.

2nd off. I do not have ANY AB sliced armor, i fight with just the plain old stuff.

Jedi just need to practice their temps and just get better. No offense to any of you on here, but im sick of jedi complaingning about nerfing all these professions because they suck with their own characters. He probably died to like 1 or two and posted this comment to...he probably still hsa no jedi vs bh fighting exp.

Also, i will be a jedi in a week / 2 weeks, so thats why i'm on these forums. And i can also act as a nuetral viewer for threads like this, since i am both a BH and soon-to-be-jedi

You clearly do not understand the lack of balance between various templates and the problem postcu jedi have with inferior crystals. Also you don't seem to understand that rich cm/bhs have a virtual godmode if they can afford the right equipment (coupled with the exploit macros). Instead of coming in here and just bashing everyone why don't you take the time to understand exactly what is being discussed.
