Thread: Why you cant beat BH/CM

You clearly do not understand the lack of balance between various templates and the problem postcu jedi have with inferior crystals. Also you don't seem to understand that rich cm/bhs have a virtual godmode if they can afford the right equipment (coupled with the exploit macros). Instead of coming in here and just bashing everyone why don't you take the time to understand exactly what is being discussed.

Plenty of jedi beat them regularly.
No...there are planty of jedi that have no problems, even with the most skilled of MBH/MCM combos...it just takes practice.
So you beat Mak'?
I haven't faced him, but several jedi that I know have fought Tak, and won. And he is the best MCM/MBH on Flurry...as far as I have been told.

i'm so sick and tired of all these jedi who get owned by bounty hunters whining about this so-called "exploit macro". in my situation i do not even use macros when i fight and still get accused of exploiting with macros because the jedi's client combat logs displays two or three of the same weapon special 3 times in 3 seconds in a row.
in a 20 minute fight this occurance might happen once or twice simply because i never fight without doctor buffs and i have a VERY fast speed capped, damage capped, sac capped rifle ... and i use ranged shot because it is a no-action-cost move ... and i tend to queue up attacks before the last one cycles through.
IF a BH mixes ranged shot with advanced critical shot or head shot in any prolonged fight. it will inevitably result in 2 headshots in a row happening. the only way to ensure this doesn't happen is if the BH didn't use ranged shot at all -- which is idiotic to expect a BH not to use an essential part of his arsenal simply because a jedi "thinks" he's exploiting.
back to back specials one second apart it won't happen all the time, but when it does, and when the jedi loses, he ALWAY cries like a baby accusing the BH of exploting -- even THOUGH a speed capped, speed buffed BH carrying a speed PUP'd weapon can legitimately do Adv. Crit + Head Shot + Adv. Crit once a second for MORE damage per second, than doing headshot back to back.
jedi who lose are the biggest bunch of crybabies around.
Again your a idiot and a troll. I wont tell you not to post your stupidity because I suppose everyone has the right to sound like a fool if they want.

Gotta love it when people talk from their b-hind. Some Jedi's prob dont know how to pvp if their life depended on it others are amazing pvp'rs but cannot get the right equipment due to a flawed system. My Original Post was to say that we need better system for dmg or let pearls and crystals drop again.
How well do you think a MBH/Rifleman would do with a CDef Rifle against a good Jedi not a noob like some would say? Max dmg of 150....not good at all i would say thats the situation we are in as Jedi's now.

My template is based on MY play style, nothing more. I was a TKM/Pistoleer/Smuggler for a long time, and loved it. This is the only template that encoumpasses the barrage of combat choices I am used to as well as the techniuqes I am best at. That is all that I based my template on., not any FOTM.
Regardless of your reasons your template is the FOTM.
Yes, but I decided on the template back in May. Long before it was a FOTM. I guess it's successful and that's why there are a lot of copycats. Regardless of the FOTM, this is my template and it happens to be highly effective in most situations...even soloing N K.

Thats true but it doesn't change the gist of my arguement. I refuse to be forced into a specific template myself.

I tend to agree w/ Cendoths views on the matter. I have seen planty of these MBH/MCMs get killed by Master Powers, but not the ones w/ proper funding. Currently I am MLS/Enh 3404/Hlr 4000/Power 0400/Novice Defender. I change my template on a wkly basis to keep things interesting. Most are minor tweaks/changes. I have fought so many of these ppl it's getting silly. Yes I can pretty much tear thru the noobs that grab the FTW template. But 8k energy armor is everywhere on my server and 6k battle for the CMs. You add in that and the AB slice, plus the current LS spd bug, and once you get that -40spd debuff, good luck. I have a 707dps saber, and a higher version one w/ crap FC. If I see the MCM badge I most of the time just pass. This is a recent change, b/c of the spd bugg. Before this I would fight, but now it seems like I'm moving in super slow mo, rather than just slow mo
.
For anyone w/o Master powers and a near perfect pre-cu saber, I don't think you're going to win any of these fights, unless you catch a lucky break. The last one I fought decimated my force bar and I was jsut not doing any dmg, and I even popped the spd pie to test if it helped any.
For those of you who'll say I don't know how to PvP or w/e. Well I tend to disagree. Outside these, I've not had to leave a fight in 9 month, and have not had a BH death in 9 months. I would say I know my template extremely well.I picked up cloak as a recent addon b/c I was bored and this game doesn't feel like SW anymore. I use it far more for Roleplaying/Imersion then for any combat. Truthfully I mainly play another game while my Jedi sits afk waiting for the next BH to show up.
And and BIG TIME YES, re: Civ. Jedi. I was shocked at the number of BHs I got. 4 at once. Yikes.

If you guys do not mind me asking. What moves are you using to defeat these BH's. Please tech me your strategy, because I cannot beat most of them. This is my template.
My saber is 562-685 for damage, 16FC and 96 SAC, DPS is a little over 400.
Master Powers
34042 Enhancer
4000 Healer
0404 Sabers

Root, KD (saber KD, if near MOBs), armorbreak, choke, powerhit, lightning, followed by a headhit and/or a mindblast.
