One tree, either one, as both will give you +30 innate armor i.e. overall protection of 3000 which only gives you a 28.5% damage reduction. However as the previous poster mentioned if you do go that route get the 0400 tree as that'll give you Improved Center of Being which'll add 500 to both melee/ranged defense and help you with your RPing purposes, though you'll just have to unequip your ranged weapon every 35-40 seconds or so to refresh Imp COB. Overall though I'd have to say that you're probably just better off wearing armor and using those extra points for somethingelse like Medic 0040 or whatever would fit with your RPing. If you decide to not wear armor still then I'd definitely recommend the Medic 0040 path.

i was just wondering:
Is TKM innate armor stackable with the Jedi innate armor? And if it is wouldnt that make just about an invincible tank. Just a question. Please feel free to tell me this is a stupid question.

TK innate armor and Jedi armor do not stack. I assume the highest mod gets used, but in the game you never know.

My friend wanted to test tk inate armor, so she dueled somebody with no armor on for tk armor then equiped armor to see which was better, now when she unequips all her armor she gets hit for 900 dmg, this shows now her innate tk armor is not working, any ideas?

I've heard the "innate armor flag" seems to get stuck to "off" if you unequip armor while not in combat. Easiest way I can think of to take care of it is to equip the armor, /taunt a low-CL critter, then stand there taking hits while she unequips the armor. I think re-logging while unarmored also takes care of it (although she may need to wait 10 minutes or so to make sure her character is completely unloaded from the game world).
By the way, what were the results of the testing?

Is the Innate Armor working when you take off armor, or does it still require a server restart to take effect?
