Just running by to say... wow...

This is a day I will remember.

I still remember this day.

Sorry for you who became Jedi to own the server, I guess Jedi was just given back to us roleplayers, while playerhunting was ripped from BH's like a candybar they never deserved.

And no more frs...

The oldtime griefers can as well quit over theese changes, and make room for my old friends who they managed to grief away.

I think you are in for a shock. If no pvp is your idea of "freedom." Then you are to be let down. Try being a "well-rounded" player who embraces ALL playstyles instead of wanting to have your cake, AND eat it too.

You are is disgrace, people like you have ruined the game for everyone. As the WoW forums would say - Re-roll PvE.

What a stupid statement. lol

Besides that, I also have an annoying sig that looks like part of the post.

You dont get it do you... You lost. We won.

The pvp community had no better arguments than "I am better than you", "I should be better than you", "I should have more than you", leet speak, flames, smacktalk and truly retarded statements such as "if you dont like it, play something else", "if you cant handle it you are weak" blahblah. Do you really think a large corporation who lives on online entertainment would listen to a few losers who needed to bully others in an online game to make up for their real-life issues?

I would not talk -- lol claiming how things are about a (free PvE Jedi) now... is kinda funny..

Considering its not at all the same Jedi kinda makes it a moot point.

It's a new car not the old one.... so for that matter it's not the same. Let's face it to many things got broke..we know it , its sad but there was no fix. It's to bad (ironic) that we are going back to more or a pre 9 template now lol.. two clicks and less rpg and mmo then most games like Battle Front II -- So, while you say it was some sort of a victory, it's kinda like saying you won somthing that does not exsist lol.

Now if they kept the OLD Jedi config ... and then changed the system while having that power and extent of powers, and abilities based on some choice and diverse skill sets then you could brag some.

However, this is not the case at all...it's getting a whole different bag altogther...lol Almost though, you came close lol... to bad its not the same I must say.

lol You won... now that one is funny.

You won a new watered down version and you know it...

NOW if you won the old school Jedi -- then THAT would have been somthing to be proud of... what you won was a toon that is no stronger then a crafter... good show, do not try to mix the two same things.

Jedi of the past is much different then the future one kiddo.... you not the same at all lol.

I cant beleive you actully think that somehow its the same lol....

If you wanted to stay off the terms it was possible. The choice of getting on the terms was usually mine and Jedi vs BH was the only fun I had at times.

Blah blah blah...

You can take your "it was possible" speech and shove it, becouse I know all about how "possible" it was.

I have the CHOICE you speak about now, and being like a normal profession was definitely worth the trade. We need no alpha professions in this game.

You are onto something. Everything we currently knew aside from Imperial and Rebel is about to change. Be prepared. PvP is not gone, nor is PvE or RP'ing for that matter. Now folks have no complaints, nor anything to lose. I would anticipate more PvP. As a matter of fact I can guarantee that there will be more. The door on player bounties has been closed. For some this is welcomed, for others it is not. Rest assured that where SOE closed a door, LA will certainly open a window. I aam personally prepared for any change that comes down the pike. The system as it was, was without a doubt broken. I see this as an opportunity to make something good out of a bad situation. I am no fanboy, nor am I a yes man. I believe the timing was terrible for this release, but I have to get beyond that.

Thank you for your time.

Lol nope... its still got PvP man...lol its not going away trust me on that one. You need to read more closely..

Sure no more Player bounties but the PvP will still be there... BUT you have more of a choice now.

(HOWEVER if you look kiddo it had a very very very very large price tag) --- So while you say yay, you also know that Jedi will not ever be the great class it once was with Risk vs Reward... that part is gone and at least some of us can say we did it the hard way, we earned it.

In the long run Im happy about this move... I have posted before it that I was, I caught wind of it early (Lucky) and posted some things about it before hand. I can only see good things from it, with all the bugs in the CU this is the last move to save the game.

(ironic) that the Template it looks like Jedi has IS THE SAME FREAKING ONE I HAD PRE patch 9 !!! LOL -- Which is back to us NOT fighting about crap or nerfing each other-- (Hard to nerf what we all are exactly alike lol) --SO while you may be happy, It cost you a whole class and history of a class in this game that was once reared Rare, Powerful, and Unique ....

If you don't know that then you truly are blind.... BUT somthing tells me you know this...Your not that stupid..lol

Which was I wanted from the beginning. A choice. Now I can play a jedi like I always wanted to, and when I do not need schoolkids in my backyard, I simply say "no".

And pvp in "cu2" seems more skillbased, so I may be more interested in trying it out. I was a rabid quake3fan for many years, but I hated pvp in swg because it had nothing to offer and was mostly based on equipment/template rather than the players abilities.

I couldnt care less about the current "class" and it's history. It was retarded since launch and now finally it's more close to what it should have been since the beginning. I do not care about "rarity" and "power", all I care about is how close to canon it is, and jedi according to the expanded universe where not powerful during the rebellion era.

Lol, retarded since launch... about your speed - translation: I could not do it. Now then this Jedi you always wanted ...lol Im sure it is man. Again, I am supportive of this and new of some of this coming as I posted in previous days.

But the difference between you and I , is that I know its not the same Jedi... it is not the same level or strength, it is by all means not different then a Clone Trooper, so while you may enjoy that... Im glad but the Jedi and people before you in this game that played this class when it was hard know that something like that took effort and was not handed to them.

Now then since you asume we are in the expanded universe (which by the way I found really funny) then you need to talk to Lucus Arts and let them know because they have a different time set for you to come..lol

Funny though, I give you that man, funny.

Comparing a apple to rasin.... almost funny.

i do so remember those days, we got flamed left and right during that forum event. even thought we put point on top of point on how bad the system was the leet speak and forum flamers eat us up and completely ignored everything we had to say and only thought about themselves.
this is indeed a great day for the rpg'ers out there, im trully gona love sitting back and watch the little worms crawl and whine there little hearts out over this, im sure you are too. now its there turn to feel step on. finally the game will be based on fun and not power.
no amount of flames could change the joy i feel right now ,ahhhhhhh.
pve/rp players FTW

Yeah, I remember. We held ourselves levelheaded and used proper language, keeping on replying to the same old ignorant arguments over and over again.

It was locked eventually, but it created a great number of other threads in the forum and people still remember it, and I have seen many similar posts since.

The RPG in MMORPG is back. Time to play!

Thanks well like I said, this is not like winning somthing or what Jedi was... for that matter He won nothing...kinda funny like that. I too look forward to the change and posted so long before Jemy came out from his rock.

There is too many things broke right now and its just not fixable. SO many things are a wreck and we all know it, however someone braging that they made the system like this and they won...is almost a joke.

Now it would have been a victory of sorts if it was the old Jedi in this system then that is somthing, but braging on this one lol... kinda like saying your Yugo ROCKS...lol compared to that older Corvette not being made anymore lol.

... yes... but at what cost?

We are loosing everything that made SWG unique and precious. We Jedi are going right back to being cookie-cutter versions of ourselves. No individuality, no specialization, no dedicated healers, no dedicated tanks... we're all the same.

Cookie-cutters made everybody the same, and if you werent cookie-cutter you where weak and couldnt play the game/couldnt pvp blah blah etc.

I believe there will be alot of ways to customize your character now, but without giving up the essentials.

It has been stated that you can start as a Jedi. Unless you have a crystal ball. How do you know it's going to be fun ? It could be the worst game ever, but just because you get your way with BHs it's going to be fun ? Well you you can go and sit in a mantina now, and show off your glowstick all you want.

I can see where she know things will be fun. Childish bountyhunters where the only thing that ruined my fun. Now I can have fun nonstop without breaks.
