Thread: Are there really Jedi here that think we are 1.5 times stronger than non-jedi?
I find two things mostfunny in the forums; all the post about avoiding VIS and the consideration of whether we ar 1.5 times more powerful than any other player on the server. Oh yeah, and the Jedi who claim that becauseTHEY cant kill a MCM/MBH that none of the rest of us can, thats BS. Of course it seems the sceptics always start by saying "if you say you can you are lying."
First off, all things being equal, no master profession can kill a Pre CU Jedi Master Defender who knows what he is doing... ah ah ah.. dont say a thing.. its true. If they just walk up to you like half the Idiots do and go for broke face to face,even the MCM is gonna be toast. We are talking about BH in almost everydiscussion about this subject so lets not bring up TK hybrids, there is a mix of meleewhich can hold his own against even defenders, but that is not the costly enemy we face.
I have notYET been defeated by a MCM, period; although Im sure one day I will. They have to get close at some point and I can definately inflict enough damage to bring them down to below halftheir health, KD and 2 strikes for the kill. Maybe Im lucky or maybe Im just good at what I do.Or maybeI just enjoy killing BH so much that I just excel at it. But to date, I have yet to fall to theweapon orDOT of any BH. I havehad to retreat from a few and some of those where MCM. I'm not saying I can kill everyone of them at every encounter, but if I escapetheir DB I have won, though they will debate that im sure. The fact is that I am ALWAYSalive and they have no cash so in my opinion I have won. So one way or another my toonIS inherently better thanits advisaryby some margin, whether it isthe ability to evade, use of Saber, Healing ability, oruse of certrain Enchatment abilities, there is a noticable superiorityover non-jeditemplates all things being equal.
Most look at the power of the Jedi relataive to thierparticular template. Thats a very 2 dimentional perspective. Over all, when considering all the templates available to use,Jedi aremore powewrfulthan other professions. Sort of like, for example, an F-18 is far superior to aMIG-21 in its technological and structural design. But having all that technologyat your finger tips doesnt fully replace Skill,Efficient Thinking, Chance and Opportunity. Anew F-18 pilot can easily loose to an Ace MIG-21 Pilot. But if you add the rare d20 roll to the mix in this game, unlike the real world example or fighter pilots, many things can happen that defy logic orinherant template abilities.

actually we are supposed to be 1.5 pve and pvp, on the other handi can solo a lvl90 something ancient krayt dragon on my M.bh/m.rifleman but not on my jedi.

Just imagine if we were 1.5 times stronger.. There would be no non-jedi pvp'ers, and nearly everyone wanting to be viable in pvp would be grinding towards Jedi.

If jedi are not as strong as a regular profession, why are there so many, why are there 100's of people dropping regular skills to go jedi?

lol some people but i know that i can hold my own even against pre CU jedi with a saber that has half the max damage they have... but against a non jedi melee char... hands down they are just better i only really beat them with luck
