Technically you still have the choice to PVP or not...you can run, cloak or stasis. But the Devs seem to be moving in the direction of removing escape mechinisms...
Personally I think there should be an opt in to be hunted but there needs to be something in place to prevent the showboating that goes on in front of major starports.

I agree with that! I have always felt 3 things get us nerfed...Showboaters, people who abuse certain abilities and BH crying...oh and the 4th...Jedi complaining about other Jedi abilities...
Asaber /powers tef in major Starports would be most excellent. And I like the idea of going on leave as well. Right now I am not on the terms and a full template Jedi so I am seeing how long it takes for me to get on the terms again. So in a way I am on leave...
You know what would be a cool incentive for Jedi to stay and fight BH? a counter of sorts that works like this. Say after 4 BH encounters you win all 4...you get off the terms.

Then play one of the 30 other professions you've mastered.

Its quite simple, Jedi with lightsabers wants to get hunted, jedi with post CU flashlights don't want to be hunted

Well I would agree with this one.. BUT MIND you this would include the population as well.

I dont really mind the BH thing. I knew it was a part of the system when I became a Jedi and I accpeted it. I also know that even at full temp Im gonna heve to work at killing a BH and probably will die at the hands of alot of them. My problem withteh BH system is that it seemsbalanced towards the BH. Its not the 7100+nrg ab resist armmor, or the CM healing speed/power, or the Droid banging way once per second, or the Nyms carbine, or the close to triple capped Trando rifle. Its all that added to the broken speed mod on sabers, the hosed regen, and the lack of Pearls/Crystals worth tuning(Dont tell me that Jedi ned to go out and get 100 good crystals and theyll have a good saber because more often than not it just isnt true. I have a 13fc 652 max dmamge Sunriders Saber and it has nothing to do with the 100 or so fair to quality crystals/pearls I've tuned and everythign to do with the 5 Premiums Crystals. Yes tuning is random but the %chance at a good tune is mrginaly higher on a premium.). You add all these up and you have alot of Jedi with a max of 500 and some damage only because they experimented all towards damage out there who just wont stand a chance.
Now Im not asking for anything to be taken from anyone. Leave the BHS as they are but fix the problems we have. This doesnt gratn the Jedi an I win button but gives them more solid ground to stand on.
