Thread: get pre cu back and fix it, or keep CU. No whine, just want to get some numbers
Pre CU
Pro's
-----
- PVE damage output alot higher (but then this was due to behind the scenes upgrades and not standard damage)
- Using lower specials than your max.
- Mpowers animal attcks/controls.
- 85% saberblock
- Combat queue made life easier to keep track of fights
Cons
-----
- Melee tore through us like butter
- 60% LS resist PSG's
- Everyone forced to use polearm saber to compete
- First KD/Dizzy usually won
- Warcry/Warcry2 abuse
- Needing to get buffed before stepping out of your house
- Melee stacked BH
- MLS and Heal 4004 were must have professions so less diversity available.
- CM BH with 1300 tick poisons
- BH with Dot weapons
- BH with Exceptional weapons
- Forced Solo grind
Post CU
Pro's
-----
- MLS Heal 4004 no longer required allowing more diversity (just because people are lazy and like FOTM's doesnt mean they couldnt use them)
- Perma 3k HAM
- BH fights usually 1 on 1
- No visibility from groups
- Ranged more prominant
- Able to wear PSG's
- Innate jedi armour
- Powers now has decent force costs
- Force armour is worth a damn
- General use stims
- Jedi specific CA's
Cons
-----
- Weapons/Specials have SAC cost as well as force
- Loss of LS toughness
- Loss of ability to use lower level specials

How about we get Jedi back to pre-9 AND we take out these ridiculous "exceptional" weapons as well as the stupid 1k poisons.
Do that, and I agree this would be a much better game.....at least to me, not sure about the BH's coming after me lol.

there is nothing else to do just.. xpgrind xpgrind and no fun, no way of have fun, you can't do this, you can't do that... that's what is CU and it is not balanced as they promissed... and.. they forgot that players want to have fun, not just xpGrind...

I will reply in a way that most will relate to (this does not include specific things like the old kd/dizzy problem...that could have been tweaked...everything can be tweaked) The prolem is the combat "FEEL" is buggy and slow now....the old feel was quick and crisp by comparison and the combat window was really cool.
NOW:
Slow
You never know what special is queued up next or if it even took
Most of the time your KD'd and don't even know it. Then when your toon falls down, your actually not KD anymore
Speeds seem horribly slow in general with the cooldown timers,then sometimes theyquicker. Being buffed in both cases.
You can't change shift quickly, cuz there is some kind of queue of specials you picked, but you can't stop and shift gears, you just have to wait and die or not get the incap you wanted. Sometime 5 seconds or more, just so you can now do something different.
I like PRE CU....I can see my specials queued up and when I change my mind, I can stop the queue, and layout a different strategy and actually see it take place.

I enjoyed the Pre CU era. Might miss cloak from Post CU times but am willing to give that up and I am a major cloaker big time. And a few things like visibility in a group was a nice fix that coulda been done with the pre CU.
I miss the Pre CU animals and NPCs. Animals were a set HAM type and toughness in missions or in the wild. The NPCs had unique character names given them and they would interact with a Player more based on Faction points. Its nice having an NPC help me. Now a days they just stand around doing nothing.
I feel I miss the old crafting days, and I dislike the level system. Some of the changes shoulda been added to the pre CU system is all I can reckon and some of the Post CU changes should never have been done. Then take the result of both those things and mix them.
