i dont care what your replys are to this post, the pre cu system was awesom because it tailored to different peoples playstyles and what they enjoyed the most. If you wanted to solo you could but you would have to grind a template and then spend the credits on armor and awesom weapons. Post Cu the groups are no more then 8 and the npcs take way to long to kill....
Pre cu = had everything the players wanted
Post CU = has everytihng the groupies and the whiners wanted (with some content added in that was fun for the first week)
yep, im going to have to agree with this poster here. I didnt solo everything in the game, because i chose not too. I dont mind the Cu, but im not falling all over myslef for it either. Everytime i log on to SWG now i think, well what can i do now? I need a group for this and that and the other. I really miss pre-CU alot, and I would give up my jedi to go to a preCU server. Combat is slow and boring now. I use different specials, but they arent the same as the ones we had b4. now everyting is generic.
I think that if the applied certian aspects of what the CU has to offer to the old system, the game would be golden. I loved 20 person groups... That was awsome. if they brought back 20 person group and MY COMBAT QUEUE i would be more than happy. those are the two biggies. tanxkkbyebye now

This was lame. To me, some dungeons, mobs, quests should be meant for groups (multiple groups even) like in other mmo's where raids take 3,4,5 groups of people.
Pre CU all I ever had to do was get buffed and go out and there was nothing I couldnt do. (well, maybe not the corvettes) but as tkm I was untouchable. I could tank a lair and come out unscathed. To me, that was boring and unreal. So was soloing an ancient krayt. How could SOE do that to a legendary creature. It was so wrong.
This is a wrong question to ask in Jedi forums. Jedi was a powerhouse pre-CU. So, it's very normal you will all get '' Pre-CU '' answers here.
I cancelled my Jedi and I'm not playing anymore, so I'd love to see pre-CU. But the people who needs to answer this is non-Jedi. If they agree on '' Pre-CU '', too, then SOE has made a big mistake.

See the thing was with the old system, no-one was forced to solo anything. Those that enjoyed grouping with friends could do so. Those that wanted to solo could do so. Everyone could play to their own tastes. Sure god mode existed, but I would remind everyone that god-mode could be fixed, and only you chose to get buffed - nobody was forced to wear great armor or get great buffs after all. Everyone seemed to have their niche.
I would like to hear if the crafters/entertainers have an opinion on CU, because it killed crafting for me.
chefs are much happier now from what i hear since they provide some well needed support,crafting armor on my alt is good too,its made me rich but i would trade it all back for the game to be what it was like pre CU

DUH pre-cu even with all the bugs ( less than now IMO)
