Thread: get pre cu back and fix it, or keep CU. No whine, just want to get some numbers
Pre-CU - easy choice.
This new system is mind-numbingly slow. I have less use for my other toons since the CU - this new system is all jedi, all the time. Don't get me wrong,I appreciate that it'seasier to be a jedi in the new system -noobs can grind them faster, worry less about being hunted, dieing isn't the set-back it used to be, andcompleted tempsstill pwn in PvP - but I like the choices of gameplay Pre-CU allowed me. As it is, my swordsman hasn't seen the light of day in weeks.

- MLS and Heal 4004 were must have professions so less diversity available.
- CM BH with 1300 tick poisons
- BH with Dot weapons
- BH with Exceptional weapons
- Forced Solo grind

Pro's

- MLS Heal 4004 no longer required allowing more diversity (just because people are lazy and like FOTM's doesnt mean they couldnt use them)
- Perma 3k HAM
- BH fights usually 1 on 1
- No visibility from groups
- Ranged more prominant
- Able to wear PSG's
- Innate jedi armour
- Powers now has decent force costs
- Force armour is worth a damn
- General use stims
- Jedi specific CA's
-Force cloak
Cons

- Weapons/Specials have SAC cost as well as force
- Loss of LS toughness
- Loss of ability to use lower level specials
-Lightsaber resistence now by energy layered armor
-Forced Grouping
-Medic Stacked BHs
-BHs with practically exceptional weapons
-Debuffs that cannot be countered and over power buffs.
-Paralyze/Concussion Shot the new "Warcry"
-No unique damage types(Energy or Kinetic, and some hardly noticable elemental. The more damage types added more depth to the combat)
-LvL system that limitsplayer options(People who want to craft/entertain and fight)
Heaping all the current in-game problems, pearl drops, loot drops Jedi damage vs other profession, jedi strength vs other profession similar shortcomings, accumulate all of this and adding in the current state of the dev’s customer service, has forced me to move on to something else for a time.
Pre cu for me was much better fun, yes there where problems but the cu certainly did not fix them. What is not fun about the cu is forced grouping with obnoxious teenagers, yes grouping is fun and pre cu I grouped a lot for content but no one likes something being forced on them, especially if they are paying for it.
I really miss some of the specials every time I see a video or some one chatting about old specials and the general feel of the game, it makes me think the ship has sunk and we don’t know we are about to drown yet.
Bring back my old weapons damage, they where cu’ified and made crap over night, bring back all the old bounty hunter special or the carbineer special, yes root is fun but so was applying dots, or mind attack and has anyone noticed yet again the game is about mind.
Pre cu had severe balance issues but at least you had a chance to loot that double stated, mind fire lance from a night sister the same as everyone else.
Well I’m off for now, until they fix the game I won’t be playing, hope you all have fun and if you can still stomach the game, good for you and may it last a long time but for me I have had it with the development teams lying miss handling of the star wars universe, we all now that the new expansion wont fix pearls drop or loot drops so stuff it.

I leave behind a crappy 631 max dam sabre with fc of 31 sac 95 and this post cu is actual pretty good and a 1121 max dam power hammer 104 sac.

I cancelled my Jedi and I'm not playing anymore, so I'd love to see pre-CU. But the people who needs to answer this is non-Jedi. If they agree on '' Pre-CU '', too, then SOE has made a big mistake.
yeah i know oro but hey you know that over 80% of ANY professions would get pre cu back, and start from scrath and fix every professions from That last patch.

CU destroyed the game, soo many people are Jedi and BH, nearly no one is M Fencer or M Pistoleer, cos most ppl say "they are too weak". Pre-CU: Fencer was a very good PVP Prof, but now...pffff
Sooo, we need a new Combat Upgrade where all Profs are good and not that some Profs are "so" bad that no one wants to grind them!
