It would be nice to see this template more. It relies entirely on skill, not on who has the better saber or more skill tapes.

Damn your teeth, Keln. I've been trying and trying to justify keeping saber in my template, but I think you just pushed it away for good.

Pretty good actually. I can't tank very well, but I can root with the best of em. If I was in a confined space with, say a NPC Jedi Knight...I'd probably be screwed. But I have killed lesser krayts, and Kimos, DWB SBDs,and hoards of gurks, and all kinds of things with this template. I don't usually die in PvE anyways. And getting away in PvE if it gets bad is cheesecake for my template.

Honestly, my template is better at group fights. Alot of my high end attacks/states are area/cone. For instance, I can't KD, intim, or stun without it being area attack. They are good ones, but I run the risk of aggroing everything within a certain radius...so I can't use them solo'ing sometimes. I've had a couple dozen NS after me because they were intimidated by me (ironic, I know) and it wasn't pretty. And I had only aimed at one

Maybe if BHs had counters for sabre throw, dervish, armor break (ok, they do on that front and look at how controversial that is), power attack... Imagine if you are a MLS, and a BH (or anyone else) could counter pretty much all of your moves, use them to refill their HAM and/or reflect the damage you deal out right back at you. Sounds horrible doesn't it. Welcome to our World, the World of MPowers being negated by a set of novice skills practically every single Jedi has.

Two things would make Master Powers better would be to get rid off the warm up for attacks like lightning and increase the damage a bit. Master Powers should not be able to do more damage than a MLS but it should be a viable alternative. I'm personally doing a MPowers/MEhancer/4-0-4-0 healing temp on my 2nd jedi. Not very far into yet but I already like it alot. It is harder to play thna other temps but if you can handle that then it can be alot of fun. Who doesn't think shooting lightning from your hand is cool?

if by 'KD, run, cloak' you mean 'totally own' then yes. BH have MUCH better melee/ranged def. they have really nice energy armor. all kinds of root/snare/kite. usually MCM. just as many heal/stim d/kd recover/etc macro's as you can imagine (granted jedi have the option for this but BH get the jump of you when your not running them).

Mpowers is slow from warm up timers (which basically root you btw), weak due to lack of any defense and the fact that the damage is not that spectacular, and is only gonna get nerfed more in the future (cloak cry babies to thank for that).

how much dmg does FORCE LIGHTNING do? Does that go through armor like Choke too? Or is there something that blocks lightning dmg?

I'd go M Powers if I had one of these sabers newer jedi speak of.
