Lightning is supposed to go through armor but Armor Break still increases the dmg you do with it so I'm not sure exactly how it works.
As for the discussion about powers...honestly I did it to be different. Plus I don't have crap loads of money for pearls lol. I have been frustrated a lot...I lose over 80% of my duels and whatnot. There has been an occasional win...but eh, its not often. Where I really shine is group PvP. Intim everyone...KD some people....provide a little extra push on an enemy going down. I don't go in to own everything...just help everyone out. It's just a support profession. It can get frustrated...but it's unique, supportive, and fun. And as long as you practice you can get good.
P.S. More and more people are doing powers everyday...I meet lots of them in groups nowadays. It isn't as rare as you think....well at least on Lowca anyway *shrug*

To all those who say powers is gimped...well... thats prolly cuz ur a FotM MLS/MDef that knows nothing of tactics and strategy

Bud powersisn't bad at all i have a guildie who has a mas powers/ mas enhancer template and he kicks serous butt. Good luck with your grind and i hope u have fun
