RPG have also been about co-operation since the beginning, not competition. Becouse of this, forced-pvp against solo targets do not work in a RPG.
You cannot have balanced pvp in a roleplaying game. You can only have fun if you can accept that or if you are simply too weakminded to see how easy it is to break the system. Becouse of this,forced-pvp doesnt work. The attackers will always rely on the best possible combinations of numerical advantages to automaticly win, while thoose who casually play the game for fun arent interested in putting down that amount of time to "win" over another player.

Many innocent lives have been taken by those who hearken to a "higher ideology" for the betterment of the human race.
I won't get into opinions of pvp being bad or good because that's all it is opinion from a perspective.
I will tell you that I'm a roleplayer and a pvp'er and that is why I've played mmorpg's since they became available.
You see I roleplay my pvp. I have for over 8 years in Ultima Online and I have for over 2 years in SWG and I have for over 30 years on with paper and dice.
I also have never seen where anyone in SWG was forced into pvp.
Anything within SWG that leads to pvp is made by the players choice/choices and that's the cold facts of this game.
You nor anyone cannot show any of us where the bringing of pvp was not the choice of you the player. To say otherwise is a false statement and not a true representation of this game to those who do not know SWG.
It's just like the mistaken ideal that Jedi are peaceful/pacifist

The people who promote forced-pvp promote just that. Forced gameplay. Their way - forced.
It's that simple.
And being ignorant about the forced mechanics doesnt help you push your point either.
And as a sidenote, I begun my Jedi grind in this game with a 15'year old TKM stacker who labeled his victory as a ra'pe.
A friend got hunted down by a boy she used to talk to after neglecting to have him as boyfriend.
Supporting creeps perverted fantasies is not why I pay for this game, and that's what you support with your pro-forced speech. SOE are professional enough to realise that supporting this behavioris ruining their product. Protecting the individual is the highest priority with online entertainment where adults meetto communicate. I should have my right to enjoy the star wars experience as Jedi even if I am a woman.

So what your saying is that when this game was made it wasn't a known fact that to be overt in a faction you would be open to pvp?
It wasn't a known fact that once you become a Jedi you would be subjected to TEF's and Player Bounty Hunters, hence pvp?
It seems the ignorance of these game mechanics is yours and not all the other people who bought the game andplayed it with the acceptance of how it was designed.
Your way has been to whine and submit for changes to the existing game play and mechanics.
Can you factual argue it isn't designed this way?
Can you show me where I can level my Jedi at Padawan through pvp? No you can't.
Can I show you the tons of marketing and advertising and gaming information that let the public know that Jedi was a pvp class?
Can I show you the same with overt factions ?

Baffling isnt it? So she KNEW she actually had gotten the email that SPECIFICALLY SAYS Jedi is a pvp prof. You heard me right, the email said that and then she starts whining about "forced" pvp. Now, to me, thats about as dumb as a criminal whose warned about stealing and gets mad hes in jail for it...im thinking...DUHHH????? LOL
All too funny. But, my original post to MsNil was deleted, funny since all those hundreds of posts about Marua/Miriam/Tom lasted for ever and the devs didnt touch many of em....
Also, some of her flunkies started to flame me which i brought it on...if you check my old posts, i love the hate and destruction. It keeps me on my toes. but for bhs to not have bounties is like...a HUGE blow. I dont like it one bit.

The following is the official info about why player hunts where removed, taken from the questions the devs replied during the first betatest:
"The reason they gave for the PC bounties were removed is that it promoted a bitter bitter rivalry between BHs and Jedi. I never was a Jedi, but having run BH missions I was upset to no end when I track somebody and find...a generic small house and tells respond with /afk message. Also they want the focus to be on the GCW and having parts of you population angry and upset they can't kill each other because the other is an exploiting **edit** doesn't really build a gameworld. So yes some people enjoyed that, but howmany people avoided teh BH/Jedi forums because of that."
So basicly the BH vs Jedi TEF where becouse Bounty Hunters and Jedi whined too much about killing eachother, and SoEwanted toGCW as the endgame instead of focusing on just 2 professions.
