People have been calling her a post-CU carebear. Thats the point.
Most egoists tend to want to blame everything on someone, so they are likely to blame groups after which they target all their hate against that group, only seeing the stereotypes their mind created for them.
Calling everyone that speaks against you to be a part of that group is the traditional reaction of a xenophobic.
It's no different from labeling someone a Jew, Gay or **edit**.
I do not see why a post-cu Jedi are anyway lesser than a pre-cu Jedi, or a pre-9. I have friends who are post-cu, and I stand up for them. Unlike the Egoists, I keep friends above power.

Don't listen to them.
A Carebear is a brightly colored somewhat g4y looking creature like stuffed bear with a pastel design on it's belly. It has the ability to entertain little kids, while also engaging in some sort of evil force power witchcraft.

CU2 = Carebears Online
Carebear - Someone that complains that other people are better at the game than they are in order to get the game changed so that no one has an advantage in any way. Someone that does not understand game mechanics or does not devote the time to obtain harder to get items in the game. Yes, in this case, the carebears have won, so have fun with your new online game. Someone who wants equal player status to a hardcore gamer, but only play a couple times a week.

So the other kind is a person who want their überstuff to always win so they do not have to have skill, and always whine about keeping power over everybody else.

Now you have to move on to another game and do your best in finding something that guarantees your victory without skill.

You can never justify a carebear, no matter how hard you try.

Nobody said anything about always winning did they? The CU made the game into something less desirable as it only took slightly more numbers in a battle to win regardless of gear/skill. The CU2 will finish off that idea in that it will only take one more person in a group to kill another because zero skills will be involved. You can have fun clicking your mouse on someone with all the original concepts gone. I was never uber by any means, but you guys are pathetic that fill the forum with post after post about the game not being fair when you had fair and open access to all the information like any other player. Now, you all can hold hands in your jedi carebear circle and not worry about the consequences. You must have missed other posts I made about players complaining about pvp and not knowing to use foods, gear, etc. You are great at posting stats regarding the game, but from what I gather you cannot actually put the numbers to good use. I have used some of the information you have posted in the past to my advantage. Someone that is more prepared, more knowledgable, and more experienced deserves to win, at least in my book.

As you've read there are many definitions of carebear as used in mmorpg's.
And many definitions of griefer and the opposites.
But lets clear the air.
The term first started coming into use with the first commercially successful mmorpg Ultima Online.
The entire world outside of guard protected cities was full on pvp.
The game manuals told you that outside of town you were attackable be anyone and everyone.
**hrmm sounds like old Jedi**
Within the community of players the population that didn't want pvp posted, emailed, snail mailed, phoned devs to get the game changed to the way they like to play.
The result was a "mirrored" world that was consensual pvp only, but the old world and old ways still prevailed for those that liked it that way.
It was coined carebear land and so were it's residents.
You see both sides "carebears and hardcore pvp elites" are very similar in that they are both ego driven andwant it their way irregardless of the detriment to the other side.
In Ultima Online the "hardcore pvp'er elites" lost theunlimited supply of helplessvictims.
While the "carebears" got everything for free and without risk their fame dwindled soon as everyone and anyone could have the same things they did with putting in the time.
You see it kills the carebears ego when they are posing at the local hotspot and everyone else has the same L33t items just as it kills the ego of the hardcore elite pvp'er that now dies more often because his selection of victims is limited to others who "want" to pvp.
In mmorpg's carebears are not people who want the game to be fun and fair for all.
They want the game to be their way, which they assume is the way everyone wants it to be or should want it to be.
You see theycan be as malicious and slanderous as their counterparts but in their eyes it's justified because the other views are from the dark side. evil ones.
Just note the fact that many carebears and hardcore pvp'er elites toss out gender and age stereotyping one in the same.
They both think they are justified my their means.

Same as altruism, a person who puts others in front of themselves.
Also sometimes a way to label pve players, people who prefer to co-operate with others beforecompeting with others, like roleplayers.
Carebears whine about everybody's right to be happy with the game.
The antithesis of carebear is an Egoist. Someone who look to themselves before everybody else. Someone who try to build power on someone elses demise.
Egoists whine about their own power.
In the end, carebears always win, becouse the other kind tends to not have alot of friends. Carebears are also more generally older and wiser in age than the heatheaded egoists.
lol MSNil for president ![]()
i was always about pve/roleplay. but if someone attacks me i kill it or die trying, i dont complain about it.
now i like to roleplay a dark jedi...does that make me an evil carebear? like bizarro world carebear? hmm *ponder*

While well written, this isonly an attempt to romance griefers and attempt to justify their cause.

To a traditional roleplayer, who picked template according to what she/he feel fits for her character, and spend more time writing background than shopping for food, forced-pvp do nothing but ruin the game.
RPG have also been about co-operation since the beginning, not competition. A medic is not supposed to fight a fighter, but even if the fighter would certainly win against the medic in 1on1 combat, the fighter is traditionally inadept to survive on his own - he needs the medic. Becouse of this, forced-pvp against solo targets do not work in a RPG.
You cannot have balanced pvp in a roleplaying game. You can only have fun if you can accept that or if you are simply too weakminded to see how easy it is to break the system. Becouse of this,forced-pvp doesnt work. The attackers will always rely on the best possible combinations of numerical advantages to automaticly win, while thoose who casually play the game for fun arent interested in putting down that amount of time to "win" over another player.
