While you are at it post on carbineer forums and tell them not every single one of them should use a carbine like this. Made with enhanced power cells. (bh loot)

This subject seems to be going on and on.
I agree with what the was said on the original post, as it has taken me since until todayconstantly looting NPC to get capped on both LS & General Speed and Acc. Did I cry or whine when they changed Mabari Belts no, I started looting again.
Peps just need to get out there and lootsimple as that either solo or grouped.

- Game balance says so.
- Where does it say pre-CU Jedi are entitled to them? Its not a problem of being at a disadvantage when starting out, its a problem of being at a disadvantage by design forever depending on when you joined the game or unlocked.

The main problem isnt lack of drops, its the younger generations belief system. So let me fix this misconception for you...
You are not entitled to rule every game. In fact in mmorpgs only a small few, maybe 1% ever get that elite sword or super rare armor piece. Jedi are no different. There will and should be some that simply will always beat you.
Effort equals reward. Just like in real life folks, effort means small or big rewards. In the case of SWG, if one started playing since launch and worked hard grinding and hunting those nasty krayts they obviously deserve to rock. Lets not forget how difficult krayts were back then, sometimes taking 45 minutes to take one down with no guarantee of a pearl drop (or a good tune for that matter). These jedi have been playing the game longer, and therefore SHOULD be better. They put the time and energy in. They worked harder than post-cu jedi plain and simple. And like life, they are better because of it.
Not every part of a mmorpg must be perfectly balanced between professions. Sure the devs try and make things within reason but gear will always set some apart. Jedi are the same, some will get better skill tapes and pearls.
If you really want to play a generic watered down mmorpg where everyone is the same and nice and balanced equally then may I suggest trying World of Warcraft. Over there a level 60 warlock is equal to every other level 60 warlock. This is the beauty of SWG, effort matters and can set you apart from the rest....Just like life.

You should complain : you're a Jedi, you pay the same fee than me but you can't use my Heavy lighting rifle or my Assaut Armor.. it's not fair.

We are didn't you know? WE jedi who ground so hard in the past feel that it's a terrible thing that people can grind jedi faster, even though it's an alpha class and 1/3 as effective as any normal combat profession. WE older jedi feel it's wrong to be able to grind our templates easier with groups whether it's afk or not, instead of grinding countless ours on sologroup missions which have literally caused some players to go crazy. Yes we hate the new jedi system, it's easier to grind therefore we should be mad because eventhough it's the same xp requirements all you new jedi have absolutely no right to ever reach our level. Ever! In fact We older jedi are so mad at the newer jedi because they think they are so good that we've even suggested removing lightsabers from them because they have too much in common with their older jedi bretheren. /sarcasm off

Ah I thought you were one of the Jedi who expected to be my equal by tuning 4 crystals/pearls.
I could care less about how long it takes to grind the profession xp wise.

if you were a jedi you would know that today even if we got all perfect tunes and put them on our best saber it is still atleast 250 or morethen "regular" gun,guns don't even need to be uber to beat saber dmg... if we put all our points into dmg and got about 270 base then added 480+ worth of perfect tunes we'd only get a 750 dmg saber but the SAC would be too much... btw krayts back then were easy, i've heard of jedi farming them getting lots of flawless a day. I grinded just like the other jedi pre-cu then unlocked a few days after it and it was hard work for months doing nothing much grinding, so what about those ppl like me ? we worked hard then just to find out jedi got the biggest nerf ever with the CU...

I've got a near perfect tune from a quality pearl, so save your whining.
It's all a craps shoot. I doubt you were here for this, but for most of the tuning ability's life, tuning was absolutely completely random. The quality didn't make a lick of difference at all. Now they've fixed that, and all pearls have the same tuning range, it's just that the higher quality pearls have a bonus on the tuneing table.
You want a better chance to get a good tune, go get the luck FS skill. I have it and have found it to be invaluable.
