I'm not a fanboi or fan-girl as it were... I just don't see how this is all that big of a deal. Every company in the world does this in thier advertisment, and marketing of thier product. Why would SOE be any different ? I just think that if a game bugs some of you this much, you prb should stop playing it.

lol... If I go to the supermarket and find out that cans of peas are only two for a dollar on every other wends, and not every wends as thier add implied.... I don't run home , get on the phone and call everyone I know, and tell them that the supermarket lied to me. I just go to a different store the next time when I need some peas. In fact, the only thing close to this type of behavior i can even think of in the real world is when my 6 year old niece throws a fit when she doesn't get something she wanted for whatever reason.

Have you ever played another MMO? I have played many, and never been treated in this way. Why are we so upset? Its probably because most of us are Star Wars fans. I am, big time. Its why i care so much about this game. I really think if sony continues what they are doing this game wont be around very much longer. And that would really suck...cause i dont want to be an elf

QFE. Believe it or not there is an industry standard for these kinds of games, and SOE/LA have dipped way below that standard when dealing with it's customers.

Point of fact, I have quit, but my account doesn't run out until January. If any one wants me to leave so bad, then give me my money back for the Sub I just renewed 3 days before they announced this change, and 1 day after I bought ToOW. And you can be rid of me. Until then I'm afraid you'll just have to learn how to ignore my postings. As I am, seemingly, paying approximately $80.00 to use these forumsfor the next little while.

I don't feel like I've been lied too, and quite honestly no one knows the whole story here either, all these changes may have been pused on SOE by Lucas Arts, we just don't know... The new crystal, that Tiggs mentioned is the same in power as the Banes' Heart or sunrider's destiny. Why? Because to keep thier promise and give us an edge would be to create balance issues in this already unbalanced game, that they are still desperately trying to balance.

So why the continued lies? I think it's to slow the rate at which vets leave the game. Follow me here, if they can get new people to come in faster then vets leave they win. PERIOD. So it's basicaly SOE's form of crowd control. (and it has worked far better then any crowd control profession in the CU)

Once again we were promised something that apparently we're not getting. Does this actually suprise anyone? I mean really after 2+ years of lies it's just par for the course.

please. don't go into that "I played for 2 yrs, blah blah blah....." It is a friggin game. This is not some alternate reality. It is not some life threatening catastrophe. It is a game. You paid to play the game, that does not make it yours, nor does it make SOE accountable to keep you happy and entertained. As long as you choose to play, then you pay. When you are not obligated to keep paying and no one owes you anything.

And for the record, yes I realize the Robe does actually give you an Attack Buff so the devs could technically say there is where the promised extra damage will come from.....it's a fair point.

Until I see Tiggs correct her statment that has been posted multiple times, we were promised a new Saber and a Robe with special protection. So far that is not happening. I'm very adament about this issue because we Jedi have been screwed over previously with Patch9 when robes were supposed to have protection = to armor........it was even in a friday feature for the love of Devs. Did it happen, hell no. I see the same thing happening here and I'll be dammed if they are going to "exaggerate" to my face for the second time.

I've done my time waiting. If we don't get our say now, when this hits live it's over. Patience, try telling that to the devs that seem to think that a set date can not be pushed back reguardless of how much is broken. If it's expected for us to have patience why can't the devs?

btw, I admire you have the patience of a Jedi but after looking at everything I'm going to lose in the conversion starting from SEA's, WEapons, Pearls turning to crap, losing my Jedi Knight tag, and above all not getting the items that are given to you while you level........I've just about had it with wait and see. I'm going to fight for what I have earned for being in this game since Day 2. If you are looking for a reason, I'm trying my best to find a reason NOT to quit.
