I think the problem here is that somehow people think they have some controll over what SOE/Lucas Arts does with thier game.. It is thier game it always has been. If they want to change it, they will, as you have noticed I'm sure. Not to mention the SOE employees that actually read these coments have no controll over anything that the Marketing Dept at SOE/Lucas decides to do. They are just here to try and communicate to the peole who post here as much as they are allowed too. Way too many times has this and other boards bitten the hand that feeds them when it comes to information, so you can't blame them for leaving statements they make open in case something changes in the overall plan.
I understand why people are upset, I understand why people think they have been lied too, but all this anger and negativity over silly small stuff is just crazy. It's a real easy problem to solve, just cancel your account. I'm not saying that is what you should do, but it is an option if you are so angry and frustrated that you can't be positive any longer.
If I had a co-worker that came to work everyday and complained endlessly about how much he hated the company and his job. I would tell him the same thing. Quit complaining to me, and do something about it. I mean find another job already and everyone will be happier, him because he has moved on, and me because I don't have to listen to him complain all the time.

I'm not a fanboi or fan-girl as it were... I just don't see how this is all that big of a deal. Every company in the world does this in thier advertisment, and marketing of thier product. Why would SOE be any different ? I just think that if a game bugs some of you this much, you prb should stop playing it.
lol... If I go to the supermarket and find out that cans of peas are only two for a dollar on every other wends, and not every wends as thier add implied.... I don't run home , get on the phone and call everyone I know, and tell them that the supermarket lied to me. I just go to a different store the next time when I need some peas. In fact, the only thing close to this type of behavior i can even think of in the real world is when my 6 year old niece throws a fit when she doesn't get something she wanted for whatever reason.

Have you ever played another MMO? I have played many, and never been treated in this way. Why are we so upset? Its probably because most of us are Star Wars fans. I am, big time. Its why i care so much about this game. I really think if sony continues what they are doing this game wont be around very much longer. And that would really suck...cause i dont want to be an elf

hmmm. I don't know, sounds kind of like a typo to me. And knowing how long Tiggs has been up the last few days, I wouldnt doubt she would be prone to typos.

yea, you showed me. Maybe tiggs will be a sweetheart and clarify this, seeing as we know for sure, there is no new lightsaber.
