When someone does this, he goes on my f-list if he already is not there, and I hold the mission as long as necessary to catch him out of the house in the next 3 days before the mission decays (or someone else gets him). I know plenty of other BHs that do the same. Yes, I know that means I do not do any other BH missions, but that's when I work on Pilot skills, Kashyyk quests etc.until I see him log in and then the hunt begins anew.

now thats dedication to your proffesion

I completely disagree. Beat them once, they get fired up, beat them twice, they never come back.

I was standing just behind my own city's shuttleport talking to a few guildies, and we notice and Buffed and Fully fed Ithorian get off the shuttle.

I flicked my Aura - valor - infusion macro on and carried on chatting to my guildies, as he ran over and opened fire on me I simply /sigh at him and carry on chatting to my guildmates - In fact every single one of then completely ignored him.

After about 15 mins of shooting me and flinging Poo at me he gave up, shuttled out and sent me a /tell that simply said "Lame"

I didnt send a tall back, tho it was tempting.

I dont do it to deliberately undermine the BH, its just that I am fed up with them interupting my gameplay.

I have a lot of time to waste in SWG now with nothing really left to do, so if they are going to come for me, they will have to wait till i have finished talking or doing what im doing.

I understand that there are BH out there that could really take advantage of me while im doing this, but luckily for me thats only about 3% of the BH's out there.

That's fine with me. Until I have a reason to fight BH's I wont. I have cloak, FR3, and Stasis. The fight ends when I want it to. The hunt ends when you want it to. It's been my experience thatthe hunt ends soon when the BH realizes he really has no chance of killing me. It's funny you should mention Kashyyyk. I like to quest there too. It's just as easy for me to head to Kashyyyk when I have a particularly "determined" BH that's after me.

I'm sure for someone of your stature I dont have to go through the list of how the Kashyyyk odds that are stacked in my favor.

I'll do them for effect:

-No droids

-Many many instanced quests.

-Ability to easily leave the planet cloaked.

I'm sorry BHs, but with cloak and FR and a short TEF timer, Jedi just don't have to fight anymore.

Myself , found that by triple incapping, disabling vehicles (if any)a bh at very best making him/her abort due time has elpased 15-20 minutes. Even the vet bh are less likely to try me.

I would not say its a sign of being a dabbler but the rest is probably right along with just having no reason to fight them. No reward for killing them so why bother mentality.

/macro rantmode

Nice to see that the BH correspondent uses exploits. Oh wait! You say "using the friends list to know when they come online after you've already identified them is not an exploit!" And if you're not talking about the friends list when you say "see him log in", what other magical BH mechanism do you have to see him log in? Using the occasional probe droid periodically to check if the Jedi is logged in is not how I took that statement.

If the definition of exploit is: "using an in-game mechanic, in an unintended manner, to gain an advantage you otherwise wouldn't have," then using the friends list in the manner described is an exploit. Just as a Jedi using the /duel command to check if a BH has their mission is an exploit, under that definition.

A BH with my mission is not my friend. I don't belong on their "friends list".

If the devs wanted droids to work on Kashyyyk, then they can fix it at any time they want.....they've chosen not to.

Cloak, whether it will eventually be nerfed or not, is in teh game now and I will use it any way I want to as long as it's legit.

I'm not barking up anyone's tree I'm just stating my position in relation to his position.

Correspondants work on a volunteer basis. They volunteer their time to work on a non-biased basis for free to make changes that benefit everyone. There is no place in SWGfor a correspondant that wishes to wage personal vendettas.

I've been playing this game for quite some time now and invested many hours in it. I pay my $15/month just like everyone else does. I'm entitled to my opinions and can play the game any way I want to as long as it's legit. I have just as much right to respond to anyone on this forum as long as it's within the forum guidelines.

So don't think for one second that someone with a "correspondant" title and a blue name can come on the forums and make me nervous.

I'll have the jedi sit afk in the house all night long, and I've never fought a BH. Running is the key to keeping them out of your life. After a couple weeks you'll never see one again. If you can't get away from a BH then you deserve to die.
