I routi9nley do fights infront of NPC's that are 40+ meters away. nothign to fear here.
On a side nbote, I would try to keep at leat 64M away, just for the sake of cushion.

It is 32m - it CAN be trusted...
I constantly "work" with NPCs in the 70s of metres away

ok let's say my saber is out and i see someone coming towards me on his bike. what's the best thing to do? clear combat queue and peace? or clear combat queue and unequip saber? i am just wondering because i heard if you unequip your saber in front of pc's and npc's you get visibility. any help is appreaciated. thanks

but if i clear my saber would still be out. say if my saber is ignited and the person is standing 20 meters away what do i do?

put it away, it will put you in a disadvantage but like I said you will get sucker punched, the sooner you put it away the better. Because if you put it away soon enough and you get attacked the weapon switching timer will be reseted. Which means you can call your next weapon on the fly.

me and a friend were just talking and were wondering if two jedis are fighting side by side do they give each other visibility?

I dont know if this has been asked before, at least i cannot find it..
I was in a player city and got attacked by a huurton huntress, and i had no saber in my hand, but another jedi saw me with a saber fighting this huurton for some reason, i know that it happened before that people saw me with my robe while i didn't wear it, but i wondered if that ghost saber that people saw me fighting with generated visibility while i was unarmed on my screen?

Sorry - you guys have probably answered these questions 1000's of times, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for with the super dooper search functions on the boards.
Last night I was riding between missions and got knocked off my speeder by some mokks. I drew my saber, but stored it real quick and got killed, because I knew I had a doctor near by. There were 6 mokks, and I figured this would have gotten me a ton of visibility, but a BH friend checked and I was not on the terms 20 minutes later. How long does it take to show up on the terms after getting visibility? Or is it random/not consistent?
I also discussed this with a knight friend who told me that visibility is only gained when you kill an npc with a LS, not just them seeing it, or use a force power w/in range of them. This doesnt seem correct to me. Any comments on this?

If your saber was already equiped and you didnt use and force powers or saber specials you probably didnt get any visibility from that what so ever. If you unequiped your saber, which i think you said you did, that is the only visibility you got and its very doubtfull that was enough to get you on the terms.
