There's nothing we can do, they ignored us for over 6 months, what make u think they'll start listening to us now. I gave up, two of my three accounts have been canceled already.

lol I am totally right, remember that first 3 months when jedi was totally a story you heard about. Noone knew how to get it noone really cared that much. The crafters were crafting, the hunters were hunting the rangers were setting up base camps, the game was near flawless well except for the lil niggit bugs n stuff lol

In your own mind you are totally right...
I remember people analyzing and reanalyzing Q3P0s post to find a way to Jedi. I know plenty of people that logged in from day 1 with the intention of finding out how to get Jedi. And without Jedi, I know plenty of people that would not even have purchased the game.

We can not fight the changes, soe does not care what we say. The only thing we can do is leave if you do not like it

Im really surprised that we arent makin more noise about these changes.. i mean, lets review..
- Jedi are being nerfed so that they are no better than any other profession
- Jedi is being stripped of its uniqueness by making every jedi be the same template
- Almost all jedi attacks and powers are being removed, and those that are left like forcerun are being nerfed into uselessness
- Anyone can now be a jedi without having to go through any prerequisites.. you get lightning at level 5 jedi !;/ Everyone on the server will be jedi.
- No matter how far you were in the FS grind, its all worthless. If you spent 5 months grinding and were about to unlock, it will be like you never did any work at all because they dont compensate you for FS.
- Our only compensation is some nice trinkets and the ability to glow. After 6-8 months that most of us had to hologrind or FS grind, and then the extra months of jedi grinding.. that seems pretty freakin unfair
This is pretty much the worst thing they could do to us besides removing jedi from the game completely. I think we need to be more vocal.. Where is our correspondant on these changes ??

Why am I not upset?
- I get a new crystal
- I get a new robe
- I get new titles
- I am no longer hated because I am a jedi
- I am finally equal and do not have to worry about BH's
- I can play my jedi in peace and not worry about anything
- I play a jedi to be a jedi, if i'm equal then I do not really care, even though I grinded out many professions to unlock I just wanted to play a jedi.
- Anyone with an AB slice can kill a jedi, as far as i'm concerned then that means there is no reward. We still have to deal with BH's and we are weaker? With the changes we will not deal with BH's and be equal to them.
Sorry when I unlocked I just wanted to be a jedi. Not the uber ultra-rare class that 90% of the jedi signed up for. I just want to play my jedi and be left alone, with these changes it might finally happen.

As a full templated jedi that has played this game since launch, I would rather they remove Jedi from the game than what they are doing now. Its the abolute worse thing possible for the game.
Most of all, contrary to SOE marketing, the change makes the game less not more Star Warsy.

Peronaly I only find it better like this... Jedi isnt special for its Skills in COmbat, rather its role in the galaxy, and for this there will be no Risk for Jedi soo we cant ask for Rewards too... I like the changes we will have new content very soon very much...

A lot of us might have preferred if we could have continued playing a game that was "frozen in time", i.e., one that was permanently set up with pre-publish 9 skills and conditions; or one that was permanently pre-CU, etc.
But it's not gonna happen. You have to let go and go with the flow - that happens to have been a constant motif in George Lucas' movies, since "American Graffitti".
I look forward to a game where people don't want to be a Jedi because it's the easiest way to be "uber", where being a Jedi is seen as cool in its own right, not because of its status as an "alpha profession", and where there is no rivalry between two professions that only festers anger and resentment.
It won't be the SWG we were used to, but then, did you really expect the game to remain unchanged forever -- or if not forever, until you reached retirement age? I sure didn't.

With Jedi so easy to get and pretty powerless, same as every other profession, you won't see alot of people sticking with it anymore. I can almost guarantee it. The ones who stick with Jedi will be the same group that have entertainer characters. They will do it for the roleplay aspect more than anything else. Only then will Jedi start to be unique again.
