sadly it won't do him or any of us any good, since there are no frogs there. we are stuck grinding... yes thats right grinding up to see the skills, until further notice. i mean hell i'm at lvl 11 right now. i think i've grinded about.. 60k of xp so far.

Yup, probably right. And, anyway, the reason you don't hear so much from Bac is that - just like with Arjun and SonG - the Devs ignored him. They haven't given a damn about jedi for six months BEFORE the CU when work began on the new NGE. Being the Jedi Correspondent has always been a zero sum game.
My only consolation - as a now retiring fully templated Jedi - is that once the novelty of the new system has worn off, even the fanbois will tire of a poor Diablo II-style combat system tacked onto a poor WoW-style quest system and so SWG will close and all the developers will be unceremoniously fired.

I find this rather rich coming from someone who has been called "the Queen of Forum Vultures" with a post count over 6000. These boards are for anyone with a Jedi who pays their subscription. They can discuss questions, issues and reactions about anything they want regarding Jedi. You are not a Developer nor a Moderator nor - yet - the Jedi Correspondent. I hope my subscription expires well before the third option transpires.

well you could stick to calling her carebear, i think thats becoming her new forum name. or maybe just a select few people like to use it.

The fact is this will happen, so why dwell on it? What we need to do is make give positivr constructive feedback that could benefit us.

From what I have noticed the only Jedi really making an uproar about this are the ones that paid a few hundred dollars for theirs. I personally have no problem with people being able to start as a jedi. Hell I wish I had been able to it would have made my life a lot easier and my last 2.5 years in the game alot more enjoyable, because I would have been able to play the role I bought the game for right from the start. I am going to keep my current Jedi a Jedi because that is who he is. Then I am turning another into a smuggler, and guess what I am going to do with my dancer. She will keep dancing. I really do not see the problem with equalizing (sp) everyone and getting rid of the Ub3R L337 stacker and FOTM templates. It gives the dev team more opportunity to work on content. Also keeping 9 classes balanced is going to be so much easier than keeping 32 proffesions that everyone min maxed all to hell balanced. It might free up there time to actually fix bugs as they crop up.

they are, but after 2 years most have realized SOE doesnt care what we say and they probly hit the cancel button instead of coming to the forums.

Im really surprised that we arent makin more noise about these changes.. i mean, lets review..
- Jedi are being nerfed so that they are no better than any other profession
- Jedi is being stripped of its uniqueness by making every jedi be the same template
- Almost all jedi attacks and powers are being removed, and those that are left like forcerun are being nerfed into uselessness
- Anyone can now be a jedi without having to go through any prerequisites.. you get lightning at level 5 jedi !;/ Everyone on the server will be jedi.
- No matter how far you were in the FS grind, its all worthless. If you spent 5 months grinding and were about to unlock, it will be like you never did any work at all because they dont compensate you for FS.
- Our only compensation is some nice trinkets and the ability to glow. After 6-8 months that most of us had to hologrind or FS grind, and then the extra months of jedi grinding.. that seems pretty freakin unfair
This is pretty much the worst thing they could do to us besides removing jedi from the game completely. I think we need to be more vocal.. Where is our correspondant on these changes ??

It's not that Jedi aren't upset. In fact, most are angry and disgusted. So disgusted that they don't want to waste pointless time and energy writing about what is so obvious.

jeebus....there is so much noise about this now that is all the boards are filled with.
no way are they going to return to an 'alpha class' system. its not going to happen.
sadly...Jedi are tearing each other apart clamoring for more perks for their own unique situations rather than banding together to advocate for the best possible changes in the NGE.
We get called elitist and whiny.....because a lot of us are just that.
