Thread: Issue: MASTER CM BH
Jedi,
Listen to yourselves. Sounds nothing like Jedi to me.
CM BH are hard. Im pleased that they are. Gives you something to think about. If you cant kill them either learn better tactics or stay off the terminals. Come on its not hard to do. You dont even get Vis from being in a group...
There will always be a stronger person than you. That doesnt mean they have to win though. Mabee the game is unbalenced. So what? If you dont have a pre - cu saber. Get the tapes to make a saber crafting suit or join a guild who has one.. You can get a saber as good as some of the pre- cu's. If you cant find one then be on your guard.
Its the same with the templates, there is no "Good or Bad" templates. play with what you want, make your own decision. Want to be able to kill everything? great thats nice, but then what? Boring..
You pay SOE for a chance to play a game they created. its their version of StarWars. Not much you can do about it.
If you dont like the way the game is then play something else. Seriously.
All i ever see on this forum is whining, or flaming for people who just cant stand things being out of their control. I cant wait for the post that says. Wow this game is great.
I had my nuts chewed off the other day by a CM/BH. good on him. I will go after him in my own way. And get medieval on his Overt ass when i see him. Nothing against the guy/girl on the PC. but i know that if i was in that position i would go after him /her. No hard feelings ![]()
You play - you pay its Your Choice. No one at SOE is forcing you to play.
Dont bother flaming the paper is fireproof.

You are the most misguided poster on the forums if you really believe that.

Geeze. How bout leave them alone. We need something in this game that's challenging. I think fixing our speed mods would greatly enhance all lvls of jedi. I don't want to see anyone in this game nerfed.
see this is what im talking about. instead of yelling NERF..... yell FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!.

Whatever....Jay'di have ruined SWG...Everyone has one now, including me...I dont play my jay'di....You all must be crappy Jay'di's if your losing to BH's. I would suggest first learing how to PvP before crying nerf to all CM BH's. Did Luke ask for a nerf when Vader cut his hand off? Did Anakin cry nerf when Obi Wan sliced half his limbs? Who are you wussy jay'di's looking up to these days?
I love how an mcm heals more than an mhealer even though mhealer draws from force and mind as opposed to the mcm who draws purely from mind. Sounds balanced to me...right?
It just makes them look stupid.
I can currently fight a MCM/BH to a draw, or beat them.
It's not all about the skills that you've given with a template. Tactics just don't involve pressing your most powerful attack and healing here and there.
Your best weapon, both in-game and in real life will always be.... your brain.
Outlast their doc buffs. If you don't want to or have the time to, then just outlast their speed buff. Concentrate more on surviving the first few minutes of a fight then trying to do damage. Will you get tells about how you're a coward for running and not fighting? Most likely.... but nobody ever said you have to fight based by his rules. Fight based on your own.
Hit and run will frustrate a lot of Bounty Hunters, to the point that they'll be so focused on doing damage to you because " oh, god damnit, I almost had that n00b Jedi, but he ran away" that chances are, they may forget to do something in the latter stages of the match, ie: food, healing at the right time, not aware of their surroundings, etc etc.
For example, a few nights ago, I had a BH sending me hate tell after hate tell, about how I need to stop and fight, stop running, blah blah blah. I swam across a river, uncloaked and stood there...and like an idiot, he followed. I rooted him in the water, and saber threw him back to the cloner. Same situation happend last night, but I couldn't get the job done before the root ended and he swam back to shore.
Saber throw is such a very under used skill among Jedi's. Why bother spending precious time trying to get 5m of a target, when you basically have the same range as a pistoleer? Saber throw and use the terrain. When he starts getting close to you because of the line of site issues with the surrounding area, that's when you run in with knockdown, armor break. Then just run away again, and keep saber throwing.
When you get a feeling that he's on the ropes (mind getting low, action getting low) this is when you press the attack.
Root him at this point. Root does more than just stop a player in their tracks. Think about the person sitting at their keyboards. I know I don't like it when I'm on the ropes, taking a lot of damage, then suddenly rooted. It gives you a feeling of underpowerment, an " uhoh, I can't run to take cover" feeling.
Then THIS is the time you start your best 5m range specials. Saber Hit, Power Hit, etc etc.
Combine the tools that this game gives, as well as the ones you have inside.
Just one person's opinon on this subject....
