Did they have to pull the acklay bones out of PH to nerf them?

Did they pull the Krayt tissue out of ranged weapons to nerf them?

With a few keystrokes they can make your pearls as good or bad as they want.You dont have to pull them out.Maybe they will require them to all be retuned with a new max damage of 100 -5 FC or some other random number.That way everyone is equal no matter how much or how little they worked to get their current pearls and then we can all stand around in a circle and sing a little song together.

The issue is them taking the pearls currently in your saber and making them the same as everyone elses.Would that make you happy since I'm asuming you spend either time or money acquiring your current pearls?

Wouldnt it be better if the just started dropping pearls again and offering the chance for people to simply acquire premiums?

Absolutely NOTHING SOE has done in the past 2+ years gives me any confidence in their handling of this situation.

If everyone sits back like sheep and waits and trusts SOE to make the right decision then you'll more than likely end up with a situation like we had before the CU where people waited and hoped and many are now regretting that decision.

This is my take on what I expect to happen with Pearls.

High grade pearls will not return to the game until the FRS is introduced. This will maintain the balance between Jedi and other profs while Jedi have nothing better to do than loot and get involved in the GCW.

Once the FRS is reintroduced then Jedi's attention will be turned on each other and prems and flawless can return to the game. Since they will withdraw from the GCW to compete in the FRS.

great. so the up and coming jedi like myself who are 2 year vets get screwed? i mean i love lightsabers. im going to be mls no matter what. but when 2 jedi are fighting and one has 4 prems/flawless then theres no point. theres like 200 damage difference. just not fair imo. flame if you want. im used to dumb people

We have to face it - SOE has in the past, and will continue in the futureto play word games. You point out the usage of the word "Interim". What about the usage of the word "Old"?

Perhaps it's easily forgotten that Premium Pearls were first identified as a "Problem with the loot table" - Only later did we find out this actually meant "We took them out on purpose".

THIS is why people have theories of conspiracy - It's been displayed in the past that in certain circumstances, what SOE SAYS and what SOE *DOES* are not exactly compatible.

i agree... i spent well over 100 million on "good" quality pearls.. and all i got is a 470 dps saber... there are pre cu jedi that have these prems that spent half as much as i did and have 700 dps.... that is not only wrong it's a load of crap... i am not gonna say either way to lower the current jedi sabers' but i will demand that sony hurry the hell up and give us the opportunity to level the playing feild ourselves.

What would be the point of removing them from you once they put premiums back in the game?

I know the theory has to do with making the "new pearls" different than the old ones and then nerfing your existing pearls and while no one can really promise you that won't happen nothing in the post Tiggs originally made seemed to suggest that. The interim comment is over analyzed I think but the only way to know for sure is to wait.

Well, considering that on my server (Bria), the entire region surrounding the Krayt Graveyard is devoid of life, it would appear that a two-step process is needed: 1. Reactivate the random spawns in the server controlling the graveyard (right now, not even dwarf nunas are spawning anywhere within 2000 meters of the POI); and then 2. Redo the loot drops for the krayts.
