Thread: Does anyone realize that the template that beats Jedi 9/10 times only requires 3 novice trees?
my saber has 3 premium and 1 flawes.
I bought 4 premiums for 10millions when they were at 2.5mil. The flawess dropped in my inventory during a guild hunt.
I bought the sunnrider's destiny crystal for 10mil. Many of the resources were harvested by my machines back ages ago.
The skill mods I have are the good job of my alt. The adk was a vet reward. I bought a second just for the fun of having a different type of saber sometimes.
I don't see the point ppl waste 100+ millions for stuffs ... go out and work!
There is no doubt that the costs for gear depend totally on whether you loot them yourself or buy them. I sell unsliced 966dmg, +60acc, 69sac, 1.90spd kinetic featherweights for 2.75mil each. So even if you don't loot your own components it does not cost a lot to have the best.
MBH can loot their own tapes, and weaps components from missions (not looking for random spawns for days on end). The weaps loot drops at the max level of usefulness, currently pearls do not. Kinda hard to compare the usefullness of a stack of 5 +188dmg, -.79spd, -8SAC cells to a good pearl that tunes to +32dmg -2 FC.
The ADK argument is not valid since both parties may choose to protect their investments but it is not required for either to do so.
Simple things are also often overlooked such as SAC power ups, Crit hit weapon slices, AB resistant armor, ranged arms, armor certs and defensive mods in every tree. Pound for pound there is not much difference between Jedi and non Jedi any more except when it comes to the XP and penalty aspect.

First, consider the FS trees our "novice" branches.
Godly armor/weapons are easy to come by, very easy with the loot from BH now available.
Next, investigations 1-4 are easy.
On a whim, I decided to make my alt a rifleman/BH/4xxx CM. I did so, easily and cheaply.
He has capped armor, w/AB slices.
Melee/ranged/rifle defenses, general ranged speed, general ranged accuracy, rifle speed, and rifle accuracy are all capped.
Also use a trando rifle with damage/sac capped,66 accuracy bonus,and sliced for critical hit, always pupped with 28% sac reduction pups. (EDIT: Also uses a damage/sac capped berserker for kinetic dmg).
Money spent? 15mill (1 premium pearl sells for the same, ormore, than this).

i worked for my money to spend on pearls etc. nothing worng if people want to spend the money they make on stuff they want.

What do you say to that.
I say if you bought a proton carbine instead of doing the quest, you're dumb.
And if your health enhanced armor only cost you 3 mil, you're a moron for spending 60 mil to ADK 3pieces.
And if you can't go out and loot some skill tapes instead of buying them all, you're lazy.
The only point you really make is that money is far too easy for you to come by. Go ahead and try and manipulate the numbers all you want to try and make your point.
A Jedi could just as easily say:
"OMG, I had to spend 20mil per pearl for 15 flawless pearls to tune 4 decent ones for my saber and 20 million for a LS Experimentation suit and 80 million on CAs because we can't even use AAs and millions more on food and PSGs and stims so that I can stand up to the mean MBH/MCMs. What do you say to that?"
and you would see an equal number of "Amen, brother!"s from Jedi and "Cry more n00b"s from BHs.

No. You weren't the onespewing some hyperbolic litany to try to create the impression that you were working harder than an entire class in order to be able to compete. If you are crafting stuff and selling it, you are trading off that effort againstthe combat skills and effort it would take to take down high endMOBs and loot them -- ergo, not lazy.
The point I was trying to make is that anyone can make a case why they are in the inferior position. For several months, that's all the Jedi and BH boards have been about. "I can't win"..."NO, I can't win". In my opinion, neither class would be overpowered or underpowered with a few fixes and enhancements. But if you make the mistake of creating a class (BH) whose endgame is to kill another class and benefit from that content, with no end benefit on the other side, you're obviously creating friction.
we could play the numbers game like this to ya know :
+25 ls speed : 45 million
+25 ls acc : 23 million
12 point ls suit (+20) 3 mill pr point : 60 million
40 premiums to get a good saber : 110 million
+12 general melee speed : 20 million
+25 general melee acc : 20 million
6 resource kits to get the best spawns for ls resources : 24 million
adk for the saber : 20 million.

You do realize that the XP in groups is probably not working right at the moment for Jedi. As a full-temp, I get 6-7K Jedi xp per kill when I'm in a group as opposed to the usual 1k that most of us have known and cursed. So spin groups, lack of vis in groups, and the xp "bug"...makes Jedi pretty damn easy to level nowadays. But I finished temp pre-CU so I know the pain of the "lengthy grind"...but maybe that's why I enjoy my Jedi more than most other players.
