Thanks for the responses. Um Quiet want to share how you got the 47? Did you experiment 1 point at a time? If you want to keep it secret that is cool. But just in case you forgot to put down how you did it, I thought I would ask.![]()
best resources on sunrunner, ent buff, research center, perfect ls tool, crafting foods +25 ls exper suit and one point at a time (still not sure that really helps, but I even waited to use the exper food before every point)....I crafted a total of about 25 sabers before I got my eff/speed and myspeed/eff saber to where I was happy with the results.

I was wondering what the damage cap is on lightsabers is. I've seen enough posts concerning the cap in efficency, but cant recall seeing one stating what the damage cap is. I appreciate if someone could help me out with this. Thanks.

I assume you are crafting in a city with the Research Center specialization, too, right?

In order to get to 47fc on crafting you would need perfect resources, or near perfect. Experimenting only gets you to the cap. The cap only grows when you have better resources and it doesn't matter how may experimentation points you put into it. Obviously you will needa goodamount of experimentation points toeven hit the cap but my point is you need better resources tohit 47fc. My best saberhas a 48fc on it and with certain pearlsI can get the fc down to 9. The decimals make a big difference when all put together.

Thanks for the further information. I have read the stickies and the crafting guides. The only thing I dont have is the research city (working on that one). I will keep messing around to see if I can get that elusive 47...
I have one question about the person who said they have a 48 FC that they can get down to 9 with pearls. How? 4 pearls with -9 would take 36 off the cost. 48 - 36 = 12....? Is there something funky with the decimal points that lets this slide?

the saber and the pearls have hidden decimals.....sofor example, your 48 saber could beanywhere from 48.0 to 48.9.....and your -9 pearls can be anywhere from -9.0 to -9.9 fc
