I just finished village quests and will be a jedi soon. I have played since launch and regret not goin after the crystals now but what I wanted to know was.
What does the crystal do?
What does the pearl do?
What should I look for if I want to buy some extremely good ones.
I have my adk still from rewards and Im figuring once I get good enough at jedi I may want to adk my saber.
Just lookin for a little info
Thanks

Pearls andclear crystals and speed, damage and force cost modifiers.
When you have one of these...and you are a jedi..you will get a tune option. Once you tune a pearl/crystal you are the only one that can use it. The crystal will recieve all these stats. And you put it in your saber. A color crystal adds color and elemental damage to your saber.
1st gensaber... 1dmg crystal 1 color
2nd gen 2 dmg crystals 1 color
3rd gen 3 dmg crystals 1 color
4th gen 4 dmg crystals 1 color.

Ok I see how it works now. The saber asa container idea did the trick. One more question though. If you put an ADK on your saber does it stop the crystal and pearl from decay? or better yet how does an adk work on a saber?

the saber is more of an equipable container.. once the saber is made, you can open it like a bag.. you place your crystals and pearls in the saber(the bag) and then you close it. you can at anytime unequip the saber, take out your pearls and crystals for new ones or whatever.. and can also make a new saber and move the crystals/pearls out of your old one and into your new one.

this being said . . . can you use a saber that another jedi crafted? But use your own crystal/pearls.

I have heard that the cap for force cost on a saber (before putting pearls in it) is 45 and the SAC is 95. I am having no trouble getting the SAC to 95 but I cannot seem to get the force cost below 48. I have a 12 point suit, 45.0 perfect crafting station and packs of the top spawned resources from the galaxy (as well as assembly and experimentation food) and a crafting buff as well. Is there some trick to getting a lower force cost? Do I need a critical success in assembly? Is the new floor 48? Any feedback will be appreciated. thanks!

48 is the norm and theres only been one 47fc ever confirmed to be crafted, might of been two, but its to late here for me to remember.

There are hidden decimals involved in crafting that can effect final outcome. If your resources are really close to hitting the cap, you may only get there with an amazing on the final point in efficiency. The end result may say 99%, but not all 99% are equal.
