These types of penalties are not appropriate in a game that is this poorly managed and filled with unfixed bugs.

On the one hand there are Jedi that think things are balanced right now. They are stupid and probably have defender. They have no idea what the current situation is with a template that has no armor. You will get one shot by a BH soon or later, that is fact. On the other hand you have those who like the idea of extra protection but don't want the look of a Jedi to go back to "robocop" (like pre-9).

You are never going to convince some about balance issues. People who think Jedi are uber and don't need armor are just fricking unexplainably dense. Now the ones that don't want the "look" of Jedi ruined by armor I think as I said in my previous post can be fixed by giving Tailors the ability to make a robe or clothes that have resists. This will not take away from AS because they don't make armor for Jedi atm anyways and it will give Tailors something that will sell more than once. Right now a player just buys clothes and due to no wear and tear they usually don't come back. This would give tailors a good way to make money.

i hear that... but the bugs will never end, things were getting better till the cu hit now were 10X as bugged and 75% of the people have left because of either the cu or the jedi population.... easy fix server rollback to the day before cu... less bugs.... no whiny respec jedi... and i would bet alot would return to the game

I like your ideas and I strongly agree with the first one. The armor I just would rather see robes giving innate armor then jedi running around in armor but thats just my oppinion. My temp is MLS ME Heal 4/0/4/0 so you can see I have no defenses other then Force Armor. I would love some more defense. So far I have yet to face a BH with SL but the day I get killed in just one shot from a BH will be the day I will be pissed. That is BS shouldn't be possible to happen. I don't understand how SOE has yet to fix that.

  1. give back the fs points - I completely agree with this (those 24 points are likeanchors )

  2. allow all Jedi to wear "Standard" armor of any type but if you are defender or force armor user and wear it your innate or skillis supressed (like tk and armor). Standard armor is not quite as good as advanced (max 40% resist). I did see many people against it but it seems that Defender has better armor and so is force armor then this (so itwould still beworth getting those skills) but this would allow strange things like enhancer/powers to be a little more survivable. It does not debalance the BH/Jedi thingat all (as people with the other armors would still be using them rather then the standard.)

The armor idea I am against well because it would just be tacky. As far as the 24 skill points back from the FS trees I am all for it. It would make a Jedi that much more viable in the current state of the game. An extra line of defender or enhancer? A little bit of a few things? Either way it would be a great boon and would not unbalance Jedi in the least bit. This way people can afford to take some extra defender for the armor/bonuses it gives to defense in lieu of having to ad innate armor at padawan and wanting to wear armor.
