Not sure if I agree or not with #1. I don't care either way really.
However with #2 I'd rather us not wear armor, but change some current in-game systems to keep the flexibility we have in wearing clothing. Here's what I think should change:
- Allow Bio-Engineers to create "Jedi Innate Armor" tissues that use very specific named resources, perhaps not even being every day spawns.
- Allow Tailors to use these tissues in either (and any tissue for that matter) Reinforced Fiber Panels or Synthetic Cloths.
- Then Tailors can, as normal, use these BE-enhanced Tailor components in the same clothes they make today.
This will allow us to still wear what we want, while having socketed clothing and innate armor for those that need it badly. Just like now, the bonus would cap at +25, giving a Jedi with no innate armor a total of +45 at best. I'm a Master Defender and I can live with that. I think it is fair enough.
