I'm one of the oldest Jedi on my server. I made it Guardian in the first system, Knight in the last one, and now I get to share it with everyone and thier 8 yearold mongoloid stepchild... If I can be positive.. lol so can you

The problem for most of us isn't that we feel entitled to get something for nothing or that we aren't getting enough. The problem is that we are being repeatedly lied to. We were lied to about this whole NGE to begin with. They announced it one day after many of us bought ToW.
Then we were lied to about the robe. Then we were lied to about the saber... excuse me... crystal. Then we were lied to about not receiving issued items from the skill tree. It's a pattern of behavior on the part of SOE that is causing this uproar, not the community.

I'm just not seeing how we were lied to about anything... I read the orginal FAQ's It said we would bet a robe with extra protection .. we ll it does.. .it buffs your Con by 125.. that's extra protection... not to mention it adds the chance at more damage... They also said a unique crystal that deals more damage, well the colors is unique, and it does deal more damage.. and again we will be the only ones to have them.. so that makes em pretty special to me..
I don't feel like I've been lied too, and quite honestly no one knows the whole story here either, all these changes may have been pused on SOE by Lucas Arts, we just don't know... I'm just saying we need to try and find peace within our own forum and quit complaing so much, and try to stay positive... It isn't that hard.. just be thankfull we recived anything at all... I know I am...
Lack of commuication to the people causes unrest. its like being the emperor of a city or whatever, you fail to listen to the people, and i wouldn't dare eat any food unless you made it yourself.

And just where did tiggs say "new saber"? I seem to have misplaced that post?
Jedi will be able to choose any of the nine iconic new professions, including the Jedi profession.Regardless of a veteran Jedi’s (existing active Jedi characters prior to the introduction of the game enhancements) re-spec choice the character will gain items and abilities that will represent the original accomplishments achieved by that character.These include specifically, the ability to take on the transparent Blue form of an ascended Jedi, a special Robe that is endowed with protective properties, and an exclusive new lightsaber with a unique color that deals more damage.All of these new items are being given to existing Jedi characters in recognition for their past achievements.

I'd rather just use a normal blue or yellow color crystalin return for arobe with actual PROTECTIVE properties (actual words used bydev to describe them)i.e. ARMOR! Cause that whole 2 extra damage wont do a whole lot when I'm geting hit by a mob for 800 pts when different class gets hit for 200 pts by same mob.

your not seeing the bigger picture however.... sure we all have them... but the throngs of people that are soon to be Jedi.. will not... i dunno about you.. but three cheers for anything that lets me stand out among that horde....
