You know, given that post cu2 everyone'ss'posed to be equal,I couldn't work out that whole jedi=normal prof but elder jedi>jedi thing...Now it all makes sense...I'm guessing the elder jedi reward saber/crystal will be akin to gen 3.5 in the new system...we'll get to use that instead of a gen 3 up until the new cert...'balance' is maintained (in the longterm we'll all be back using gen 4s)...and everything the devs have said is true...from a certain point of view...

I love soe's definition of conversion,, it simply means that if you did everything your were supposed to do and you were the highest level possible, in the new game you dont start as the highest level and you have to pretty much grind your way back up to their new standards.....what a bunch of jerks....most of us earned this by grinding our way up for 2 years and now you have to do it again. This crap of us having to go back out and regrind again is in the game to make sure the people who stay and pay the bills till we get our beloved xboxers to take our places.

Ah, why don't the devs just convert elders to CL 90 automatically? After all they first listed an Elder award was 10 more CL........I think that was a mistake because all new and old players have the ability to go to cl 90 so in my eyes that means the elder award should be we convert to CL 90 automatically.

I don't have anything against grinding, lol no BH's = easy grinding IMO.

I have a full temp dbl masterJedi, + a respect that i have hit the "later" button at least 10,000 times, 4 mill xp banked (from tanking for others).

Bac you can tell them this if you like... If I have to grind my Jedi for one God Dam XP point they can put this game streight up there back side. I want my End Game Temp Jedi to complete new content to this game.That is what Iwant!Do what you want to my second toon but leave my Jedi alone. I ground my ass off to get it to where it is today and I will not pay anymore money to get him back to where he is currently. Period.

Agreed. Spent a year getting him where I wanted. Taking a step back is BS. Seems to me that SWG is making allowances for all the new Jedi rolling up the ranks so that they'll feel loved when we get a group hug. Well they won't be when you keep alienatingyour player base. Having no option but to go grind or do quest to use the same piece of equipment Ive used for the past year is a joke plain and simple.

The issue isn't being level 90. The issue is the replacing of a fundamental piece of equipment that every full templated Jedi has: Their 4th gen LS.

Why should any Jedi who has earned the 4th gen cert now have to use a 3rd gen? If they consider me a vet, then let me use the equipment I use now.

So it's not about levels...

So Bac, the next question (I didn't see it asked before) is what gen is the veteran reward saber hilt? Extra damage or whateverbuilt into it won't do anybody any good if it's a 3rd gen saber, but giving people a 4th gen requires them to grind to use it.

Please tell me it'll be a 4th gen hilt, or that we'll have a choice.

It seems very bloody simple to me, and here I am yet again trying to write a post while my blood boils.

Us full template Jedi have already invested everything in reaching our current level. Full temp Jedi with all skill points invested should be CL90 at teh conversion. Why the hell should we be expected to grind more??
