I think fightclubbing was one of the main reasons why they disabled the FRS. People who work hard for their title got outranked by a few lame asses by killing afk MBH and jedi. If you want to be a master jedi then get it the normal way not by exploiting

fightclubbing was not cheating or exploiting..is was the only way to acheive master and for vets who this was basically the last goal they needed to accomplish in jedi this is how it was done.it wasnt to brag about or to go around showing off..it was just a means to an end..something to do basically.it wasnt illegal, but it did show how horribly flawed the frs was and maybe it will make the new frs something much better. however..i dont believe any frs rank or xp banked should carry over into the new frs because of this, everyone should get wiped clean..just my opinion though. they did reset the frs at one time for a similar reason didnt they? and if there is a jedi "master"..inturu is the closest thing that ive seen..title or not.

kett had 2 or 3 masters w/ titles and all, but i know the imps fightclubbed. Dunno about th rebel ones

You know, all the arguments I see here against FC'ing could easily from my perspective be applied to any Jedi that became one without perma, skill loss, xp loss on all deaths, double xp, respecs and 2 week to full template via piket spin groups.

Stormtrooperpct0, your post of a dead jedi master means nothing for three reasons.


1) Wookie planet grinding he was probably afk. Most afkers DONT leave the afk thing on cuz...well..thats just stupid. (Afk doesnt mean you were "good" enough to kill a jedi master. sorry)


2) Jedi master does NOT have the additional master powers, cuz every one...EVERY one are all full temp padawans. So, the difficulty of a REAL jedi master is not there. that dont count either


3) PVE vs PVP master= TWO DIFFERENT WORLDS. A pvp master would probably wax u quickly (actually WILL). A pve, possibly. They have no pvp skills including fight clubbers. Fight clubbers, most of em are weak at pvp if not all.


So, youre pic means nothing.


Fight clubbing masters dont hold my respect either. now, a pvp jedi master? one who has actually killed for his title, those are the ones who keep me up at night...

look at it this way, yeah, hes a master, but if he fought a REAL master who got theirs via pvp, hed get wiped. heck hed prolly get wiped by a knight..

Everyone calm down, we are shooting the messenger here. The real enemies are the ones who implenented such a flawed system.They made all this possible. The players found the opportunity for fast xp and used it. The system was working correctly reguardless of how anyone feels about the "honorable" way to become master. Let's face it, there was no way to become master without the loophole in the system. Would I have used the system the way they did? Probably not because a label is not all that important to me, especially considering everyone knew it was impossible to attain master without doing such activities. The only drag about being a master or having the master label is that, you are already labelled by other jedi who knew what you didwas not possible in such a system without using loopholes. Think of it this way, lawyers can get OJ off even though the evidence pointed straight at him. Yet they still construed the law, in a legal way, to show he was innocent. SOE kinda got themselves in the same situation.
