Thread: TH & Tiggs, Please Read Visibility Griefing

Jedi were warned with a little email when they unlocked that using their abilities in front of others was dangerous... get over it!
They removed vis from groups... it would be stupid to think that your enemy would not generate visibility. If they want to watch you then move on somewhere else, it you can't do that, then deal with the visibility... or go back to playing nintendo after mommy and daddy finish feeding you dinner.
that email stopped being sent well over a year ago..... so next argument please.

Then expect to be reported for griefing and banned.
This is NOT the way visibility was intended to be used.

the consiquence for a full temp is FRS (when they finally fix it) of cousre they won't work on things like that that are broken while jedi cry about a working system
Not true... only those who chose to go into the FRS will have the "FRS" penalties...but those who finish their temps, do the trials, then drop back out...will still remain without penaly... And as for crying about working system, why exactly did the old FRS get scrapped? Because some found ways to exploit it by fight-clubbing, and others whined about it when Devs stated that "fight-clubbing" was "working as intended."

perhaps I should call you a moron for not being able to spell consequence or course???
If you are waiting for the so called FRS to be the jedi saving grace you might as well hit cancel now....

It's people like you that have ruined this profession and have gotten it nerfed to oblivion.
Report away, if I prefer to hunt near you I'm as welcome to do so as anywhere else...

There is a difference between "hunting" and setting yourself on /follow on another toon in order to give them visibility...

No play = no vis. Problem solved.
"Thats a brilliant suggestion" said jokingly by Jakber. No jedi playing = no content for BH's.I'd hazard to say that most BH's want jedi around.

Now is the time I make an exampleof you to prove my point as to how views change once one completes his/her temp.....
this is a post BY YOU in 2004....

Visibility observations...
I do not know if this is 100% the case but these are my observations on visibility thus far:
1. Hunting in a group of people that are a member of your faction does not seem to get me on the boards, even using my powers.
2. Hunting alone or in a group and someone driving up or by, to watch, grieve or just by accident, will get you on the boards.
3. Using powers around NPCs, I have been unable to determine results.
4. Hunting with another Jedi in your group, does not seem to get you on the boards unless number 2 occurs.
I have been hunting with my wife in my group who is a non-jedi since the patch came out and have not had any problems, the few times I have been told I was on the boards was because someone came by while I was fighting something, or because I chose to help someone who was almost dead and I wasted a bunch of force crystal hunters for him.

So, back when YOU were grinding, it was ok to say that some do it to grieve, but if someone NOW says the same thing, you are accusing them of destroying our profession.......
when you were grinding, it was grief, now that you are no longer grinding, it's the Jedi still grinding who are destroying the profession...
Hypocrite.
