There are currently no defense to Force Drain beside having Drain yourself and turning it into a "Drain War". The Force Defense from Defender does not apply, nor do any of the Force Defense buffs from Enhancer.
Actually force defense does work against that. Drain a master defender and then a non-master (preferrably without xx4x in defender) and you will see a difference. As well, Absorb DOES work against drain. I can verify this with combat log screenshots if you like.
A guildie and I tested extensively. I am a master defender with force absorb. He was a non defender with enhancer defences. In over 100 force drain attacks on both of our parts with and with out the defenses activated, there was ZERO diffference of any statistical value. Drains had an average value of 223 points with a Max of 412 and a Min of 108. There was no statistical difference in a likelihood to hit a defender compared to a non-defender.
Have faith in God...for everything else bring data

This is just like Force Sap and Force Shock isnt it?
It is. For some reason these are not considered force attacks by the games logic, although they clearly are (as are force supression and force wave).

Improved Saber Power Attack does less damage then saber body/leg/head hit.
Since the body/leg/head hits are supposed to be targeted to maximize an armour weakness, I would expect the more generic but equal level Improved SaberPower Attackto do more damage.
I heard this, and tell me if its true. Power Attack do not conflict with Head Hit, and its possible to quickly switch between them to pull off an extra attack per round.
If this is true, it have the same effect as Dervish+Spinattack, SaberHit+BodyHit, BactaJab+BactaShot. You are meant to quickly swap between them to create a stronger effect.
Power Attack conflicts with Head Hit. When used Power Attack, cycle on Headhit turns too. In my template/saber, ImprovedPower attack does same opponent like 550'ish damage, while ImprovedHeadhit doing 780'ish damage.

nah, saber strike is a weak attack, only slightly better than saber hit but uses way more force
if anything power strike should be the hardest hitting but have a warm up like the swordsman one

I was talking about the difference between Force Hit and Force Strike.
Older testresults have lead to believe that Force Strike do less damage than Force Hit.
Is this true?
No, Saber Strike does slightly better damage but much more action/force cost than Saber Hit. Force Hit does better damage than Saber hit for sureeven you have 0 4 0 4 saber vs Novice Force Wielder, you can wield force better than saber hehe ![]()

In that case something is wrong. I wonder how this strike was intended. It would have made sense if it replaced the Saber Hit attack. Hmm.

Well, he was mentioning Saber Power Attack... If there is no info came from Force Wielder Hit vs Strike, I don't think there is a need to dig it.

how about, lets just say "Force Powers" only "powers" and LS only Saber.. seems confusing in this thread. I dont remember anything Force Strike is not "Saber Power Attack"
Therefore, Power attack is not "Force Wielder" attack, it is 2h attack.

Ok... how about...
ONE: I heard that Saber Power Hit can be quickly switched with Saber Head Hit. If this is true, this is a combo that should work as intended. You are supposed to quickly switch between Saber Power Hit and Saber Head Hit to do more damage in shorter time.
TWO: Do Force Hit do more damage than Force Strike?
Answer to ONE: Since with 0 4 0 4 LS, I have limited attacks, I tried all combos and can clearly say they both does not work together "as combo", Headhit-Saberstrike combo, headhit-saberhit combo, powerattack-saberhit combo, powerattack-saberstrike combo, BUT powerattack-headhit is not combo. You need to wait for next to warm up.
TWO: Not Force Wielder, so no comment.
