My close friend is Master Powers / Master Defender. He rocks against BH's and non - Jedi.. but against Jedi.. he goes down too fast.. =o( Its really discouraging him b/c he wants to be more damage dealing and useful but still have fun.

I'm hoping he stays Master Powers b/c you just don't seen enough of them around (even though we have two.. er.. had... one changed... in our guild)

I personally think Master Enhancer and Master Powers would be a fun template.. but thats just me.

i have powers and 0404 sabers and they work great together. I usually don't use the powers much in PvE because of the high force costs, but in pvp i do great. Like everyone has said its not a solo templete against other jedi.. Against most normals its unstoppable. MCM/BH are no where near the problem they are for other jedi. However, i only have FA2 for defense so i take a crapload of damage. But it is the most fun i've had in game for a very long time. I just respec'd from MLS/ M DEF and its not as uber as that temp, but its a lot more fun.

I use cloak

This is an easy one. IF you see a mpowers Jedi he is either killing you or just hanging out with close friends under closed doors. You WILL not see a Master Darkside Jedi like myself .If you do make a wish . I am ALWAYS under cloak to shop, use starports you name it I can do it stealthed. I even tradecloaked heheh....

powers needs one more high damage attack like lightning to make it effective in combat with just powers.

There was 4 Mpowers in a spin group last night.
Im seeing more and more go that route thinking its best against the new MBH/MCM fotm

Yes, there needs to be another powerful attack so that the two can be alternated and on seperate timers.

Is it just me, or do Force Strike, Hit and Lightning (single) all get a cooldown when you use one of them?

Example: I use Force Lightning, and a cooldown appears on Force Hit, with the exact same timer.

Cloak is the only Jedi Power worth the investment. But I decided that Master Defender was much better.

I have a bh that is mbh/mpistols/cm 4000. Against most templates I can't lose against an average pvper. Not bragging about my skills, it's just that cm heals are ridiculously fast. Fights against defenders usually end in a draw after we both get bored.

I went against a powers guy for the first time recently - he fried me really quickly. His damage output against bh was amazing, mainly I think because choke bypasses armor, so it seems like you're getting hit for big damage every second if played properly.

edit: Malack who posted above was the guy I went against. Dude, it seemed to me like you had figured out how to pump out the damage as quickly as possible with that template!

it should be "why noone gets more than x4xx powers" and i use Mpowers iun combo with MLS cuz it pwns! lol
