Thread: Jedi must be able to wear armor now,the reason is simple
eg if you have mdoc in your template you can still use your light sabre while wearing battle armor.
Jedi wearing armor is a two edge sword. There are plenty of examples in the RPGs and books(I jedi, the sith style warriors Corran fought wore armor weaved with cortios ore), in the New Jedi order series the Jedi wore a style of padded armor to fight against the Vong, ummmm Vaders suit was armor, plenty of other examples. If a jedi wants to wear armor then by all means they should be able to, but their needs to be encumbrance and their innate armor needs to be cut back while they are wearing the armor.
When jedi first came out they could wear armor and you had jedi wearing armor plus all their abilities and you had 1 jedi taking out 20 peeps with no prob.

letting jedi wearing armor with respect to losing all other natural and force armors wont inbalance game,the developers at least try it at test centers.

Defender where never designed to be more than slightly more defensive warriors in the FRS. Non-Defenders where not designed to be1-shot killed.
The situation we have today is simplybecouse toughness was removed and replaced with Armor Mitigation (while Jedi where "out of scope").
A Designed "Jedi Tank" according to the "x1.5" idea would be alot more powerful than they are today.

I can earn money easily and jedi's are dependent on bounty hunters for supply ofattachments.Jedi are good at one thing but...running away and cloaking. well thanks to burst run foods i got no hard time on catching jedis with forcerun.
Well open armor for jedi's once more. It won't unbalance game but moreover balance it. Make it like teras kasi armor. If jedi wears armor he loses all other protections which jedi armor and force armor offers. Also the game will more look like a star wars movie. Cause in star wars there is no restrictions to jedis for wearing armor ( two villains also are wearing armor like exar-kun,darth vader). Whena player hits padawan he must be able to wear battle armor without restrictions. This will give jedis more options and freedom for their character aspects.

you'd only get 10k. thats cap. ask anyone with mdef/0400 enh. it should give 11k worth of resists but no.

The SP for defender are becoming more and more worthless. AI is worthless, force valor and force aura received a big nerf. So all the skills except the defense mods and inate armor on it are broken.

Incorrect. Darth Vader wore Sith Armor, Exar Kun had armor, along with several other Sith and Jedi. They were specially made to not interfere with the force when worn on Jedi/Sith.
Only in SWG are Jedi prevented from wearing any armor. I think we should have the choice on special Jedi only armor if they continue to break defender skills they way they are. And it should work like TK, so armor worn doesn't stack with innate armor.
