Man you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, do you? These days you can pound out a non-jedi temp in under two weeks easy. FS grind ... fill a branch in about three days tops. Jedi temp ... 3-4 weeks tops. Pre CU actually had it rough for the village grind. The experience wasn't NEARLY as fast as it is now, so stop complaining (and yes you ARE complaining) about how "hard" it is now. Zip it, and carry on!

jedi power has gone for good , mite aswell get use to it guys , all we have is memorys , we are stuck like this , and next year we are gonna be in a even worse state , so really , just enjoy what we have

This is the summary I have come to as well. I try not to bring up the old days unless some one starts crying about how hard it is lol. Its so easy now, getting sympathy from me is going to be very hard when it comes to jedi

oh excuse the hell out of me for speaking my mind.... Maybe some of my info is a lil off. I had a nice 2 hour long conversation with Ta-leise about the pre-CU times and what the Jedi went through. I've heard about the 3 times in a month perma-death, but as far as the 30 professions thing, have no idea what you talking about. You think it's so easy now, but I, and a LOT of other "newbs", would beg to differ. I'm going to stop though cause all of you peoples replies do not explain to me how it was, just negative comments about me being newb because i haven't played since day 1. 1 person agreed with me that pre-CU stuff should NOT be brought back. Thanks. I know i'm gonna hear a mouthful when I login to game....I just know it...
If you want to set me straight, do so nicely please. I coulda said a lot more mean things about what I think, but being a rebel of WSQ, I refrain.
Some of my words may have come out wrong, or I just said it in the wrong way, I'm just fed up with reading about "bring back pre-CU, bring back frs, blah blah blah". live in the now, and for god sake invite the newbs in the MO. They need xp just like you!

If the pre-CU weapons are so bad, why is it when someone has a powerful weapon, and I ask them what it is and the stats, they say something like this:
"It's a pre-CU gun. has 1600 dmg on it, adk'd and all. Can't make a gun like this now, no matter what you use to make it. "
"thats with a power up in it right?"
"nope. glad I made this the day b4 CU hit!"
?? where are these 1600 dmg guns coming from? What guns are these BH'ers using to kill jedi? I thought I had a pretty nice HLR with 1100 non-PuP'd dmg. This is a little off topic anyhow..

There's some pretty wicked weapons being made nowdays too, though there are some sick weapons that seemed to have made it through the CU conversion ... ehnanced. Personally all my sick weapons and armor are as good as scrap now. Just decor on the wall

Ok let me explain a bit, and even Tally has it wrong, unless you read it wrong.
1. Perma-Death was just that, you died 3 times period, it was over, not 3 times in a month.
2. Jedi was once unlocked by profession mastery. The easrliest unlockers did it from 5 -10 Range. Once our numbers got higher they nerfed it and most ( like me ) had to grind 30 -32 professions (was only 32 professions minus Politician at the time )
3. Most of us talk about Pre-CU because it was the glory days of Jedi. MLS was a must but past that you could have various other skills and be viable in just about any situation.
4. Anyone that yells Bring back FRS!, must be mad. It was a massive grief fest, or for others a chance to kill massive loads of BH's. It was a horrible system that if you want that same feeling all yah gotta do is stay Overt 24/7 yourself.
5. I know its easier now, I've done them both, I've helped out many people grind toons ( no names of course ) even while I was grindingm y own Jedi template, so yeah I honestly do know. Besides, check out the tarq boards sometime and see how easy it is, Why do you think Guys like Skyniss bought there Jedi? Cause they didn't want to grind the professions cause it was " too hard".
6. Finally I'm betting you didn't listen to everything Ta-leise had to say, she was griefed as much if not more by and group of BH's there was. She's been through the rough parts, so she knows, but even she didn't holo grind she waited for the village.
