Thread: How Can You Call This Balance
Why do peps enjoy calling others noobs and that they do not know their templates or I am 22-0 for BH?
Question for you whats you saber DPS? and min - max dmg? Thats the answer to why you claim to be 22 - 0.
I have a pretty flawless record also and its not the BH killing me its the force regen that is. Very seldom do I loose only once recently has a BH been able to kill me that is not FOTM meaning BH/CM he was BH/Pistol other then that i run around to regen my force to at least 30% and continue fighting till either the BH dies or gives up. I was MLS/MDef 2xxx, xxx2 enhancer and could not win a fight if my life depended on it(I could not be killed but what fun is that) now I am MLS/444x def, 3xx2 enahncer, 4xxx heal and kill much faster no more kitting.
So before you start flaming someone just think do I need to OPEN MY CAKE HOLE? OR KEEP IT SHUT CUZ WE DONT NEED TO HEAR YOUR BS.
First post is right we can solo a krayt but have a hard time with a single bh (and by hard i mean not able to dmg enough)
Last night i soloed a lvl 94 Dark Jedi Knight and i killed him but i had like 10% force left. Fix the regen, and speed maybe we could be better

SHE designed it to HER playstyle... she said so earlier...

Ok... I see the type of person I'm dealing with now... so I'll simplify it for you.
If you cannot outdamage your opponent's ability to heal, there are no tactics you can do to defeat them unless those tactics involve you escaping. You can root them, KD them, cloak and attack, etc... but if the amount of inflicted damage < amount of healed damage... there is no way to win.
My problem specifically is with your attitude that if a Jedi loses in a fight... they must not know what they are doing. Instead of being constructive... you bash the person in this thread (which is a large problem with a lot of Jedi I see).
I do not lose to BH's in fights... in fact I find it pretty easy to defeat them. Guess that's the difference between Jedi like you and I. I'd rather point out some fundamental problems with the current system rather than pointing the finger while saying "you must suck".
while i see your point, us older jedi have that "attitude" because most of the new ones cry about everything. nerf this nerf that
there should only be one thread on the jedi boards. and it should have 50k+ posts. titled "fix pearl drops"
if every new jedi had a fair shot at a good saber, then we could make fun of you for sucking at pvp lol

Jedi PvP doesn't really matter against a BH that can heal himself for 1500+ damage every other second. As a Jedi... you can't win against that. The BH can apply fire, poison, disease and then just sit back healing himself till you are out of force from healing. There's no tactics in it, and there's nothing the Jedi can do other than hope he can disrupt the constant healing of the BH with a well placed (and lucky) KD or something.

Honest answer? Because you aren't very good at jedi pvp.
Then how do I win? Am I some kind of freak that has a 22+ and 2 record? If you count only from when I was a half template, then that record is 22 - 0 - 0.
My saber isn't uber, and I don't use any foods spices that everyone else does. Why can I beat every BH that comes for me (often 2 vs 1) and you can't?
I'm not a pvp goddess, but I understand my jedi's template and designed it around my own style and tactics, as ooposed to some FOTM.
Well... to follow your pointless and condonsending tone... maybe those BH's didn't know what they were doing.
BTW... your record doesn't impress me in the least. I too have not lost to a BH since the CU hit. But if I BH wants too... they do not *need* to continually attack you. All they need to do is hit you with their CM abilities and then just kite waiting for you to run out of force.
The point you are missing is that there is nothing in regards to *Jedi PvP Tactics* in beating a BH. The only chance Jedi have is by outdamaging a BH's healing ability. Not all BH's are MBH / MCM templates... but more and more are switching to it.
Getting hit with paralyze, thyroid rupture, fire, poison, disease and then kiting you for the rest of the fight is not fun in the least. Unless you have the template to counter these... the fight is going to be a draw at best unless the Jedi gets lucky.
The fact that you are 22-2 just leads me to believe that you are fighting a lot of token BH's that don't know their entire template yet.

Yes..I designed it for me. I didn't do any FOTM, I crafted it basd on my playstyle. Nobody told me to make it, so it wasn't designed FOR me.
Foof...when I decided that this was going to be my template, the CU had just come out.
EXACTLY!!

This is the problem people!!! DO NOT TRY TO OUT DMG via dps vs hps! This is likely why you are loosing.
The key is to cause the aggressor to dump their mind/action pool which leaves them open to attack. "How do I do this" you ask?
IT is NOT about heaviest damage as much as it is about _CONSISTENT_ damage. Hit small and fast which will use less action and force then power attacks. Keep on the BH and you will watch their stat pools, not hitpoints, dwindle away. If the agressor is believed to be a Zabrak you MUST keep STUN on while the target is below 50% of MindPool. (stun prevents equiliberium)
My template: LM, Defender 0044, Healer 4000, Enhancer 3402
Saber: 2.4spd 654max 100sac
If I go for the heaviest attacks it will not do anything other then dump my stat pools. What I do is keep states on and chip away with SaberHit, head/leg/body. I will occasionally toss in a KD and PowerAttack _ONLY_ after about 30-45 seconds which allows me to gear up the BH into dumping their stats into healing which creates an extreme situation where the BH isn't able to handle two consecuative hits for 1k & 1.3k.
I like the encounters I currently recieve although SOE has refused to invest manhours into repairing broken code which has allowed for this game to become a joke.

This is my theory and it never made any since to me at all. How can a Jedi solo an Enraged Kimogila or Necrosis with 45-60K ham, but a BH with 4k ham can come up and wipe the floor with a Jedi. Where the hell is the balance in that. Dev's whatever you guys or smoking or drinking I would sure like to know what the hell is.

Ah, non-Jedi with the right template can also solo Kimogilas/Krayt easily. N-K is harder but it can be done with the right template.
Does that mean they have the right to wipe the floor with Jedi?
