Hey bro, we don't care.
You are an obstruction.
You are a distraction.
You are a flat tire on our journey.
In the end you lose, because we arive at our destination.
When you go perma overt, I will consider respecting you. Until then, you are cherry picker who plays the game in easy mode.
Notice, use of the word chose.
You were made well aware that this would be a tough profession. You were made well aware you'd lose xp. Hell, if you were an early jedi, you were made well aware that you could be permakilled.
Jedi is meant to be the most demanding profession. You made the choice to become one.
Live with it.
Like every forum is but he and yourself are very welcome here bymost of the Jedi community dont tar us all with the same brush my friend

Nice post... Amen to that.
However a word of advice from a fellow hunter to another... its best to keep your nose out of the Jedi forums, plagued with trolls they are. Hell, I have even been flamed when offering advice and strategies to get away and keep clear of bounty hunting. Its truly amazing the frustration that gets vented here.
As far as you jedi that dont see any honor in bounty hunting are concerned, let me ask you this, what do you find more honorable:
A) Getting ganked by 5 BH, who then spit on your corpse and laugh
or
B) Nearly falling out of your chair in suprise as you suddenly find yourself incapped, only to see a looming BH over your corpse (one that caught you completely off your guard), saluting you, and doing a bit of RP to at least make things more interesting than a simple /spit emote if nothing else.
or
C) You come to find that the same BH from B) above has brought a doctor with him to rez you to mitigate some of your experience loss, then gives you some pointers on how to avoid this fate in the future?
NO honor in bounty hunting.... I find that statement laughable. Just a warning to you jedi that dont show respect for your predators.... remember, that respect is a two way street. Bounty hunters can make your life easy, easier, hard, or just plain hell.

Live with it.No I didn't.Get over yourself.
You knew if your vis got too high you would be hunted, and yet you still took on padawan, sounds like it to me.

nice post.
On the subject of BH being honorable: you have to see it from their side of the table. They see themselves as the final enforcer of the law in the galaxy and the only force that can keep the jedi population in check. These are both honorable and make the game as a whole much more enjoyable to play if you look at the big picture.
Once again, people need to stop thinking about themselves and have some sportsmanship. If you don't llike the fact that the game has to be balanced for all players, then I'm sure there are plenty of 1 player PC and XBOX games out there for you.
I 100% agree with you.
When having discussions about the BH or Jedi proffesions there are always the complainers about it, cause they are on one side or the other side.
If you are jedi and get on the terminals it is the game mechanics that place you there, if you want to hunt in a group and get on the terminals then the game mechanics and (most partly) YOU are the ones that place you on the terminals
Then a player comes along sees your name and a nice bounty behind it and he is gonna try and take you out.
When he dies you are happy, when you die you curse the system.
If you dont like to get hunted go either master dancer or play another game, but DONT say that the other player has no right to hunt YOU.
You became jedi and with it you were to be HUNTED, you knew BEFORE you became jedi and will have to deal with it.
The XP lose is ther for 1 reason, so there wont be a quadrillium master jedi running around on the servers and that a player needs to THINK about what he does.
And keep nagging about the XP lose, cause PERM DEATH was much fairer wasn't it ?
IshmaelKryste wrote:I'm still yet to see a Jedi successfuly comment on the fact that they were made well-aware that they'd be hunted, killed, and robbed of xp before they decided to become a jedi.If you say you didn't agree to the above when you made the choice to become a Jedi, then you are, sir, a complete moron that probably should have done his research before logging on to ebay. The best Jedi I've met embrace the difficulties of the profession and become stronger and more difficult to hunt as a result of it.A fight with these Jedi is always something to remember, for all the right reasons. Honour on both sides, an understanding that both are here to serve a purpose, and even a mutual respect. Then there are the weak Jedi that can't handle the difficulties, but persevere because they want to be 'uber'.Encounters always resulted in hate tells, spam, and death-threats.Despite the inconveniences, I love those Jedi the most. They paid for my DE-10 and ADK.
