Fubar - someone being nice to u over getting kicks from making less than happy is patronising.
I think in all fairness this that ive seen this before and maybe it gets deleted when the thread gets messy but someone has it in a notpad and is spamming it just to wind other people up.

Oh ic - its the fact that ur an unbuffed dancer killing a "great" jedi. That what makes it all the more sweet huh?
Let me tell u Ive been killed by a spitting rawl on naboo tending to harvestors with my jedi. I spammed heal and since the macro includes clear combat queue, it got incapped and deathblowed. Didnt manage to get a rez in time either.
Anyone who has a jedi knows just how easy it its to die and therefore how much skill is involved in staying alive. So getting killed by a dancer - not impressed TKM is very much more than needed to kill a jedi who is afk recieving a mind buff. Its more than enough to kill a jedi in 2 seconds even at the keyboard.

It was the Jedis' Arrogance that got him killed by a dancer, he was running around unbuffed in a populated city, I show no sympothy.

Nice post... Amen to that.
However a word of advice from a fellow hunter to another... its best to keep your nose out of the Jedi forums, plagued with trolls they are. Hell, I have even been flamed when offering advice and strategies to get away and keep clear of bounty hunting. Its truly amazing the frustration that gets vented here.
As far as you jedi that dont see any honor in bounty hunting are concerned, let me ask you this, what do you find more honorable:
A) Getting ganked by 5 BH, who then spit on your corpse and laugh
or
B) Nearly falling out of your chair in suprise as you suddenly find yourself incapped, only to see a looming BH over your corpse (one that caught you completely off your guard), saluting you, and doing a bit of RP to at least make things more interesting than a simple /spit emote if nothing else.
or
C) You come to find that the same BH from B) above has brought a doctor with him to rez you to mitigate some of your experience loss, then gives you some pointers on how to avoid this fate in the future?
NO honor in bounty hunting.... I find that statement laughable. Just a warning to you jedi that dont show respect for your predators.... remember, that respect is a two way street. Bounty hunters can make your life easy, easier, hard, or just plain hell.

I found this interesting, as BH is fun and Jedi is a bit boring grind. So they do add content. And they should be paid for their success. The lost time grinding over a 20 min battle is enuf punishment for being on terms, as well as a stream of hopefull BH comming to challenge you. I dont see the lost exp as an incentive or help to any one except to remove the content that this unique pvp offers. I'm not sure I dont like the Cat and mouse you get if multiple BH wanna chase you around, get their bikes blown, chase you some more... maybe you get a few maybe not... but hey its Content for us other than chopping up mereks or rancors or famba or GVT's... bleh. I have both characters and know pretty much my limits of success, huge dots, uber weapons are unballancing and so its I win for one, and Run for the other. If you Role Play the BH well you can even in this system hunt just like always, learning the habits of your target, using all your advantages, knowing their strenghts and weaknesses. Strategy is cool, learning to find mitigation for your weakness, its all cool. Youngsters I doubt would think so and I'd like to see the real grief Removed... exp loss. nothing else is really that painful...and success is actually good times, losses are lessons learned.
You can hunt rabbits or you can hunt dangerous animals... however you see your skills, Everyone starts a jedi rabbit... we should be that dangerous challenge that makes them think 3 isnt enuf, I need two more buddies. It is Stupid that 5 Bullies go hunting roger rabbit. Clearly they need some ethics classes at SOE....Lucky da bunnie is smart and leaves his toon running a week 24x7 to bore the minds of the pea brained. Then grinds 8k out near the lilly pond so he can log in the water if they like another hour of boring ness... and I love the TKA's that arrive 5 min after you have left the area....poor pitifull lot of nooblets... A real BH is refreshing...

As I always say, don't complain about being griefed, because you agreed to be "griefed" when you became a jedi. and
THAT is basic truth.
No. I agreed to be a Jedi. I did not agree to to be griefed. That's the fact you're groping for.

Depends on the society, no? In modern western society, maybe not. But that's not always been the case.

I am a Bounty Hunter
Not a ganking griefer that only gains pleasure in ruining another persons day, but a member of an honorable profession whos goals are to provide balance to the Universe while making a little profit in the process.
I hear the flame-post starting already, but please read this whole post before formulating your responses.
I do not hate the jedi. Quite the contrary, I have the utmost respect for them. They are my prey, and my adversaries. I hunt them without prejudice, without emotion, and most certainly, without malice. I do know what they go thru, and how hard the grind is. I am another of those obsticles. I am part of your learning curve.
I hunt alone, or with 1 other. I am a MHB/M Pistols, a purist as it were. Even with the odds stacked against me, I find a way to win. I always find a way.
I am the ultimate in deviousness, the culmination of years of practice, planning and plotting. I am not the Bh that suddenly appears on your radar guns a blazing, but the one that you look up at with astonishment. I will follow my mark for days. I will wait and wait. You won't know who I am. I don't choose a a low level padawan because there is no challenge in it, and if it was just credits I needed, I can make them faster just doing Quenker missions, or Janta or Mokk. I don't extort or offer buyouts. I may be that Doctor that you want the buff from, that Artisan that has a new crystal or pearl, or even your guildmate. You never know, and that is the tool of my trade. Fear.
I don't want jedi nerfed. In fact, I want the opposite, I want them to be stronger. What glory is there in defeting the crippled warrior?
I hear and read what the Jedi write about Bounty Hunters. It takes a lot for me to stay true to my calling after reading some of the posts. You complain about everything. You claim that I know nothing about what it's like...well, by the same token, you most likely don't have a clue what it's like to be a Bounty Hunter. You don't understand the frustrations that can come from playing against a character. You complain about hate tells... you have no idea. I recieve hate tells from players that I killed a month ago. They threaten me with all sorts of things. I have been banned from cities, and I have been 'stalked' by players seeking revenge.
You see, I won't attack you when you are buffed and have your saber equipped. I won't attack you when you are grinding on Dantooine. I won't even attack you when you are afk. I will attack you as you are getting a mind buff. I will attack you when you are fightclubbing. I will attack you when you think you are safe. You are never safe. Ever.
I find that there are many in my profession that don't play by my rules, but don't judge me by that same yardstick. Some are indeed scum, and others are as respectful as I am. In my experience, Jedi and Bounty Hunters alike, have those silly few that are just out to be face-to-face PVP monsters. I am above that. Don't lump me with them.
Do I believe in player bounties? Yes
Do I believe in killing Padawans? Yes...but only a select few that are worthy of my attention.
Do I kill Knights and Guardians? Yes.
Do I gank or use PSG's? No, and often times I am not even buffed when I attack...people are less threatened by the unbuffed Dancer
My greatest feat to date too me a month of planning, and they still aren't sure who killed them. That is my reward.
This guy is really full of himself.
Hey bro, we don't care.
You are an obstruction.
You are a distraction.
You are a flat tire on our journey.
In the end you lose, because we arive at our destination.
When you go perma overt, I will consider respecting you. Until then, you are cherry picker who plays the game in easy mode.

Examples of Killing for Money being Honorable:
- Soldiers: All soldiers are paid for their services, killing the enemy
- Samaurai: Were put on retainer to kill
- Assassin/Ninja: Obvious, but they were paid
- Mercenaries: Paid professions
- Gladiators: Often paid, even if that payment is freedom
Jedi kill without pay...does that make us better or worse? In fact, Jedi kill for prestige and self glorification (fight clubs)

Yup. The kind of guff so called 'honourable' BHs spout is worse than an unedited Sergio Leone script. At least the /spitting BHs are more honest and don't try to dress up the weird little kick they get harassing other players.
