have you ever get outdmg by many while you hit cl90 or above?

Yes all the time I out damage Jedi on my Rifleman BH

what is your stats on that rifle would be nice to see

do you have around 800+ in min dmg?

sure i have a good saber but far from perfect 629-717dmg and 217 elem dmg wich mean i have 846-934dmg on it and i doubt you have better min dmg than that

Far from perfect? You are within 20-30 points of perfect damage!

What he is saying is there shouldnt be a weapon AT ALL that can beat a maxed saber and there is. Most saber do low low damage, you have to have great pearls to get the damage at almost perfect.

You argument are flawed, maybe you are just trying to make excuses for your poor gameplay however let me explain.

Lightsabers min-max range is better than anything Ive seen in game as well as having the highest elemental damage.

Elite carbine - 1000 DPS. Master saber = 25% saber block, instantly cut to, for arguments sake 750 DPS.

A decent saber - 700 DPS. Plus armor break, this increases our DPS no end. I would say we have better DPS highend vs highend. I havent even counted Valor and Aura (Overpowered IMHO).

Now I dont claim to know the number crunches involved, but it seems you dont either so I've kept is basic to counteract your basic argument. I must add that Jango Fett Dominated that Jedi master on geonosis in about 4 shots....He was a BH if you dont know

And that was the ONE and ONLY time a BH has killed a jedi, he said that it shouldnt happen often. He never said it wasnt possible or couldnt happen

I know and I agree with that sentiment, butI was referring only to the comment "far from perfect", in my reply.

simple answer, Ihavnt read this entire thread so dont know if someone has already mentionedthis. But the reason Jedi blow a$$ is because everyone is a Jedi, so they had to keep nerfing them to keep the game balanced. So 1st blame Lucas Arts for comming in and making Jedi so ridiculously easy to get like it is now. then 2 blame yourself for paying 15$ a month for this game, i know i do (blame myself that is).

You must be using the wrong foods/spices mate. The BH's I fight have action that is nearly impossible to drop below half. I spent over 30 minutes fighting a MBH/CM on Dath the other day. I consistantly ran out of action, mind and Force (thankfully not all at the same time). Had to pop a holo even. The BH I was fighting never ran out of action or mind once.

i never run out of action so my food is enought for me

but i doubt any BH use speed pup like your mate did

have you ever used a speed puped gun?

i have and your action run out like water in sahara and yes my alt is BH so i know the diffrens and i should never use any speed pup against any jedi

966 max, 1.98 base speed, 65 sac featherweight and you wont burn any action.

the min on myHLR is 660 - 680 depending on the pu, the elemental cant really be counted since its not multiplied by the special attack multiuplier, for instance an adv crit shot (1.9 multiplier) with the pu will hit for 1273 + 45 elemental damagefor a total of = 1318

a saber body hit (1.8 multiplier) will hit for 1195 + elemental + around 100 elemental (yes it says 217, but i have yet to see myself hit anything for over 150 elemental before armor with 220 elemental on my saber) 1195 + 110 elemental= 1305

now if you dont have aura its gonna hit even harder.

Myself i would prefer to see the elemental damage on sabers go away, and just have the elemental added to the hilt of the saber as extra energy damage, which would make the saber bodyhit :

830 min x 1.8 = 1577 energy damage.

OK I want to be as nice as possible, and I don;t want to start any real big things here.

I'm a BH, and I know Jedi, and what kinds of problems you guys suffer. Let me first say that being underpowered is not among them. And sadly, if you thing the devs are ignoring your prof, you're sorely mistaken. Jedi and BH are the two profs that get the absolute most attention from the devs. Think about the Smuggler, Rangers, Commandos, and meelee profs that have never gotten any changes or tweaks to their profs. I think it's really greedy to say that our already powerful profs need MORE attention, when in reality, they probably need less to improve the game.

If Jedi get 1-hit kill, that's when I leave the game, and then the game implodes within a month.

I for one am totally disgusted with the ridicilous solutions the game designers think of to solve even the most primary of problems of this game. It's unbelievable how wishy-washy the designers are when it comes to making play systems decisions. First cloak is for escape, then it's not and force run was for escape and now force run isnt for escape either? Come on now folks, lets take a look at what's really happening here and call it what it is.

Population control for Jedi.

The powers that be recognize that there are too many Jedi for the timeline (and gameplay system design)., so being a Jedi has to be discouraged. Well, if being a Jedi is awefull, then their numbers will dwindle right? WRONG! Regardless how bad being a Jedi sucks, people are going to want to swing a lightsaber because, for a good porton of the player-base, that's what Star Wars is about. So rather than take a proactive approach to dealing with what seems to be an unexpected problem, the designers make the play experience for that profession unrewarding, overly difficult and completely frustrating. Jedi *ARE* underpowered. Not to other characters but to what they should be. Jedi arent even one half as powerfull as they are protrayed in both the films and in the books. This is unacceptable.

"Well they unbalance the game!", you may say. Well here's some thoughts about that. Keep these in mind the next time you think about complaining that Jedi are too powerfull...

  • Lightsabers should sever limbs on a natural critical hit (i.e. crit hit using headhit (instant death due to decapitation), bodyhit (severed arm) or leg hit (severed leg)). .

  • Lightsabers should be the most powerfull weapon in the game (not laser rifles)

  • A BH may be able to kill a fledgling Jedi but NEVER a fully trained Jedi (neither Knight nor Padawan)

  • ("Nobody can kill a Jedi." - Young Anakin Skywalker / Qui-Gon replies, "I wish that were so." Clearly here we see that Jedi are VERY VERY hard to kill but neither are they invincible. However, they are NOT a normal Bounty Hunter target.

  • "The ability to destroy a planet is insignifigant next to the power of the Force." - Darth Vader

If Jedi were even close to being as powerfull as they should be then all of the above would apply. But it does not. Why? Simple, PvP. PvP is no fun when there is a super class that can out fight all the other classes. so heres some solutions off the top of my head (albiet not that thought out) that would change the dynamics of the system and allow Jedi to become as powerfull as they should be and still not cludge PvP. (choose what ya like from the list and discard the rest but any of these changes could drasticaly enhance they way the game is played for both BH and Jedi professions. First off the global change...

Jedi vs BH is obscene. It should be Jedi vs Sith. Everyone know's it's Jedi vs Sith not Jedi vs BH. There are T-Shirts all over the place with Jedi vs Sith on them and I have yet to see one T-Shirt, coffee mug, backpack orschool folder with "Jedi vs BH" and a picture of Obi-Wan and Jango printed on it. C'mon you SOE/LA marketing/design people, think before you act. Anyway, that being said, here's the rest of the incomplete list of stuff that would most likely make the game better for everyone.

  • BH's no longer have to hunt Jedi as their primary high-end content. BH's now have the ability to hunt any profession that fails a mission for Jabba the Hutt, Lady Valerian or the Empire.

  • If a BH loses a fight with a mark (Jedi or otherwise) he/she suffers a loss to their investigation xp and is unable to take player missions until that loss is recouperated.

  • During a fight with a Jedi, players and NPC's have a chance of having their limbs severed as a result of being struck with a lightsaber.

  • Jedi are removed from participation in the GCW ( I know this one is harsh but it's the only seeable way to preserve everyone elses play experience).

  • ALL Jedi (even Padawans) are divided into light and dark sides and are permantly overt to the oposing side (the combatant/special forces rules could still apply here).

  • For those players that wish to hunt Jedi regularly, the Imperial only profession of "Imperial Inquisitor" should be added. This profession should be as difficult to obtain as Jedi but should be equal in power. "Imperial Inquisitors" should be Force Sensitive as well as have the ability to wield such weapons as: Force Pikes andForce Lances as well as the ocassional lightsaber (although they should get no bonus for using a lightsaber since they are not a Jedi).

It's ludicris that BH's even think about hunting a fully trained Jedi. It's insane to see someone that isnt even wearing cortosis laiden armor take 20 plus direct hits with a lightsaber from someone that is supposed to be a "Lightsaber Master". It's ridiculous that Bounty Hunters have nothing to hunt at high-end except a class that should decimate them with relative ease, and it's unbelievable that a solution to this long standing and game destroying problem hasnt been implemented.

All this being said, there are a ton of creative ways that Jedi could be brought to being what it should be without ruining the play of others.
Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
